I can't find a job no matter how hard I try, so what now?
By Ricardo Zaal, Founder and Lead Pastor ·

You sent out the CV again. You refreshed your inbox. Nothing. Or you did get work, but every Monday feels like a sentence. Either way, you are putting in the effort and wondering if anyone notices. That gap between how hard you are trying and how little is changing, it is exhausting. And it makes a person start to wonder if they have been forgotten. But listen to what God says into that exact place.
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way."
- Psalm 37:23 (KJV)
Tonight, before you sleep, say this out loud to God: 'I don't know where this is going, but I believe you know my next step.' That's it. You don't need to have it figured out. Just put your next step back in his hands, one more time.
What is the one thing you keep trying that just isn't working?
God, I am tired of trying and not seeing results. I don't have the answers, but I trust that you are ordering my steps even when I can't see where they lead. Hold me today. Amen.
