- What time is the service, and how long does it last?
- It starts at 09:00 every Sunday and runs about 90 minutes. Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early and you will find a seat without rushing.
- What do I wear?
- What you have on. Jeans are fine. There is no dress code and nobody looks.
- Will I be put on the spot?
- No. Nobody asks you to stand, introduce yourself, speak or come to the front. You can sing, or stand there and listen.
- Do I need to register first?
- No. Just come. The form on the Plan Your Visit page is only for people who want the address and time sent to their phone.
- Where do I go and where do I park?
- The address is 323 B Danie Theron Street, Pretoria North. Parking is on site and you do not need to book it. If you get lost on the way, WhatsApp +27 75 259 2555 and we will guide you in.
- Can I bring my children?
- Yes. Children are welcome. We are a small church and have no children's programme or childcare, so they stay with you in the service.
- I have not been to church in years. Is that a problem?
- No. You do not need to know the songs, the Bible or when to stand. People who have never been to church walk in here regularly.
- What language is the service in?
- English.
- Is the building wheelchair accessible?
- We have not published access details yet. WhatsApp us before Sunday, tell us what you need and the team will answer before you come.
Your Sunday, in order
Before you come
Fill in the form on the Plan Your Visit page if you want the details sent to you. You get a WhatsApp message from our number with the time and the address. If you reply with a question, you get an answer. Untick the box on the form and we do not message you at all.
You can also skip all of that and just arrive on Sunday.
When you arrive
Most Sundays someone is at the gate to say hello. Some Sundays no volunteer is free, so if you do not see anyone, just walk in. You sit anywhere. There is no visitor section and no name badge.
The service
It opens with worship music, then a teaching built around a real problem people face. You will not be handed a stack of papers.
Afterwards
People stay and talk. Join in or slip out, both are fine. If you left the box ticked on the form, we send a few short WhatsApp messages over the following weeks. Untick it and we send you nothing.
You decide how we notice you
Some people want a hello at the gate. Some want us to know their name. Some want to sit at the back and say nothing to anyone. All three are fine, and nobody is asked to stand up and introduce themselves.
On the Plan Your Visit form, untick the message box if you do not want to hear from us. You stay on the list and we will still be glad to see you on Sunday.
