Why do I feel older than I am?

You catch your reflection in a shop window on Church Street and something stops you. You look tired. Not just the face. Something behind the eyes. The years feel heavier than they should, and a quiet voice says you have missed your window, that the best of it is behind you. That voice lies. Listen to what God says instead.

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Today, write down one thing you are still looking forward to. Not something from the past. Something ahead. One meal, one conversation, one plan, even a small one. Put it where you will see it tonight. Hope lives in the future tense, and your future is not finished.

Lord, I give you the tiredness I carry today. Renew what feels worn out in me. I choose to believe my story is not over. Amen.
