Why does money run out before the month even ends?

It is the 7th today. Three weeks still to go. You opened your banking app this morning, or maybe you are too scared to open it, and the number sitting there does not match the list of things that still need to come off. Rent, school fees, airtime, food. The month is long and the money is short. That feeling is not weakness. Millions of people in Pretoria alone woke up carrying the same tight chest this morning. God sees the exact number on that screen, and he is not standing back waiting for you to sort it out first. He speaks directly into this:

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

- Philippians 4:19 (KJV)

Tonight, before you sleep, open that banking app one more time. But this time, say the number out loud to God. Just the number. Tell him what it needs to cover. Then sit quiet for thirty seconds and let him be bigger than the gap. That is a prayer. It counts.

God, I am going to name this number to you tonight. I do not have enough and I cannot fix it alone. Supply what I cannot. I trust that your riches are bigger than my gap. Amen.
