Why does my life feel frozen when I want to move forward?
By Ricardo Zaal, Founder and Lead Pastor ·

It is Saturday morning and you are standing in your kitchen, coffee in hand, staring at nothing. Another week has gone. Same job, same argument, same bank balance, same silence from the person who was supposed to call. You wanted to be somewhere else by now. Not just somewhere different on a map, but further along in your life. And the not-moving is starting to feel like a verdict. Like maybe you have been forgotten, or you got something wrong, or this is just how it is for you. It is not. God told a whole community sitting stuck in Babylon exactly what he was holding for them.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
- Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)
Tonight, before you sleep, write one sentence on a piece of paper or in your phone: the one thing you most want to see move. Then say out loud, 'God, you know this. You have a plan for this.' Hand it to him with your words. That is not nothing. That is where hope starts.
What one thing do you most wish was different right now?
God, I am tired of feeling stuck. I choose today to believe you have not forgotten me or lost my place. Hold my future until I can see it. Amen.
Say this out loud
I am not forgotten. God holds a good plan for my life, not harm. My life is moving in his hands even when I cannot see it.
Tomorrow: Why can't my brain just stop and let me rest?
