So the message is entitled, everyone needs something from you, but you have nothing. Let me put everybody needs money from you, but you have nothing. Let me put everybody needs time from you, but you have nothing. Everybody needs your attention, but your attention is somewhere else. now money is always an easier way to explain complex situation and that is the reason why I'm focusing on the money but it's not the money so when you look at your life your salary lands on the date that you have paid. Same day your phone starts ringing. And it's not to say it's somebody then the phone starts ringing. You have made the decision that as of I would give my life the same day when you decided that your phone start ringing with the one that always have the money to, what do you call it? there's this thing man to put you in the wrong place man it's almost like the person that he knows that this one if that one comes he will make the beer he will make the everything is nice it the same day when you have decided you have given your life to Jesus Everybody knows that is the situation that you in But because of that time, things change. The one who is first in the family to get the real job, you know, like they look up to you. because you have the job. But do you know what happened? Now that you got the job is the reason why everybody suddenly knows your address. They have not known your address for the time when you did not work. Suddenly now they know your address the one that always got text let me do this now I want to read I'm going to what do you call it I'm going to say it wrongly. There was a survey that was reported in the Cape August in 2025. Now what was the survey about? The survey found that 68% of young say that black techs strengthens them. What is that? Black tax is the money that you send to your parents, is the money that you send to your siblings, your cousins, your aunts, the ones that you have the income and you have to send home. That's how they text you. My question to you is I already told you money is easy to explain But let me speak to you The day when you gave your heart to the Lord and everybody now suddenly realize you have the power of the Holy Ghost. Now do you know what they do to you? They make you Sangoma. Do you know what Sangoma is? Sangoma is that please pray for you. I can see you have the power of hands on people. People get slain in the Holy Ghost and their lives has changed. They see it. Now they come and sit and take up your time to ask you please help me. I can't, what do you call it? I can't manage my life. Black text. You are the black, I mean, you are the one that this black text we're talking about. But remember, this is only part of it now. I'm not talking about the person you have the Batki they don't even think about your time they just say you must come and take this chair in the church because the church has an open air did they ask you This is the person I'm talking about. The one that his wife was just yesterday telling you, telling the husband, do you know every time whenever your church people say, let us go there. You don't even think twice that we were supposed to go somewhere. and you run. I hope you understand where I coming from Because I going somewhere I going somewhere Some people just ask you do you know that the moment you hit the lottery they just ask you, can you borrow us? Just small, small. this sounds like somebody who have it all but he doesn't have anything, he has nothing he just have enough and that enough, people still want from that enough the one that even whenever you know this you find this guy that he studies let's call him he has his online studies maybe let's not say full-time studies the online studies so every time whenever he He studies from literally 8 o'clock at night where everybody went to go sleep till 12 o'clock at night. And when it's time for him to study, somebody calls him to go and do something. And he doesn't take the time to study. I'm talking about this person that every time every month whenever you get paid he have given so much money to each and everybody that when it comes to his house he eat two minutes noodles he's like giving to everybody else and don't care about himself. It's the person that when you come to work it's like the bosses just know when we ask this one, he will do it. This person have a lot of work, but their managers don't think they have a lot of work. They even get given, ah, don't worry, this one you will do for us. We will give you some time off. They give you one hour for a whole five hours of job. a five hour job that you have been doing for the whole past week every day you work one hour over time and they just said to you on monday you can live one hour earlier you've spent five the one that gives the house no don't worry you can come and stay with me for one week while you are struggling to find a place. The person is now five years in your house. Am I talking to real people here? I'm just asking. Is this making sense to you that every time when everybody else is in need of you, you are there for them. In the old mutual, what they call that, a rubric, what do you mean? were writing up. Yeah, some old mutual wrote something. They said half of working South Africans worry about debt often or always. Then they say, so you are being asked for money that is already gone. And this knockouts by people who cannot see your debit orders That is what old mutual wrote so the guilt is sometimes the heavy part because if you say yes your house is going to be in trouble Bishop you know us with church when we want to go and pray for somebody what is the item we want to go do, let's call it deliverance. Yeah, you are the deliverance minister. So every time whenever you need to go do deliverance ministry is the same night that your daughter needs you at home the most. so if you don't if you say no you'll be the bad person on that side where you need to go and do deliverance but if you say yes you're the bad person at your heart my question to you is what do you do where do you draw the line How do you go about this kind of situations? Because this is where we're heading. We are heading to a place where we are so full with so many things that we need to do, so many money that we need to spend somewhere, that we will be able to do everything. and yet somebody wants even more of that everything that you don't have. I'm not going to tell you to stop caring about people now. I'm not going to ask you to stop caring about family. it. Because I want to show you what Jesus did. Do you know what Jesus did? He had something that came as a bell that landed on him He had nothing in his hand at that time Now let me read the scripture for you Let us go to Matthew 17. Matthew 17. Matthew 17. And I would like us to read from verse 24. Matthew 17 verse 24. Now, Matthew 17 verse 24 says the following. And when they will come to Capernaum, they that receive tribute money comes to come to Peter and said, do it not your master pay tribute. And he said, yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What think thou, Simon, and whom do the king of the earth take custom or tribute of their own children or of strangers? Peter said unto him, of strangers, Jesus said unto him, Then are the children free? Notwithstanding less, we should offend them. Go thou to the sea and cast a hook and take up the fish that first cometh up. And when thou hast opened the mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money that take and give unto them for me and for thee. Now, some of you read this as a Jesus who does a miracle. It's a miracle story of a fish. But I want you to look at the front part, the part before. Because the tax collectors, they didn't come to Jesus. They came to Peter. You remember I was preaching about sometimes you just have to take your own burden that you can carry. But carrying somebody else burden becomes too much for you Here the thing The text letters came to Peter, not to Jesus in Capernaum. A man who comes to your friend and asks, does your teacher have the money? Does your teacher pay? Peter said yes. Before he even checked with Jesus, Huh? So as much as you think that this is a story of a miracle that got into Peter, the money got taken from the mouth of the fish. but the thing is if he would have stood up Jesus wouldn't have had to go and look for the fish for the money Jesus wouldn't have had because before Peter Peter says a word Jesus spoke and he spoke first then he said he just didn't speak first he knew in fact so he asked the question who do kings text their own children or strangers Peter says strangers so when Peter says strangers Jesus asked the question so does it mean that the children they are free this is not the children of the tax collectors are they free because here is where the difference comes in when somebody requested something from you to do deliverance. It is a text not just on you but on the family as well. I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Amen. It's a text on you. make sense. Do you know that sometimes when I prepare a message and I hear a story where God has confirmed the message I was talking about or that I was, I mean, preparing. I sometimes feel like I'm tramping on somebody's toes. But then God has confirmed it. God has confirmed it. because when Jesus says Peter is free of this one which means the the depths of Peter he still paid for Peter he still paid for Peter He didn't think 100 times or make reasoning. He paid from a clear head. He paid from a head that is wow, done. No guilt. He didn't pay out of panic. he decided first and then he paid now there's two things I need you to read and I want us to go through to the original word that was mentioned in the Bible Galatians 6 verse 2 Let's read Galatians 6 verse 2. Now when you read Galatians 6 verse 2. He says, Bear ye one another's burden. Did you hear that one? Bear ye one another burden And so fulfill the law of Christ But I don't want us to stop there. Because bear ye one another's burden goes as far as to verse 5. Please let us read Galatians 6 verse 5. You will hear me now. Galatians 6 verse 5 says the following. For every man shall bear his own burden. Now my question to you is. Why would the same chapter of chapter 6. In the beginning says. bear ye one another's burden. So I must bear your burden. But in verse 5, it says, for every man shall bear his own burden. Now my question to you is, why is it sounding contradicting? Why does it say, I must bear your burden, but bear ye everybody his own burden. There's a difference. And the difference lies within the Greek word. Let's take the verse in verse 2. I mean the yeah, the verse 2. Now when you read Galatians 6 verse 2, the word burden means baros. So it's baros. Now when you're talking about baros, it means a heavy weight. Something that crushes you if you try to lift it alone. So it's something that crushes you if you have to lift it alone. That is the burden that he says in the verse 2, bear ye one another's burden. So the Baroque's burden is a burden that you can take alone But then when it went to the verse 5 burden it portion The Greek word for it is portion. Portion which is spelled P-H-O-R-T-I-O-N. Portion. Now, this portion in verse 5, though it's a better English word, For, I mean, a better English word for it, it's a load. So, it is a pack of soldiers carries. And, or it's a cargo a person is responsible for. So this portion is something that is yours to carry. Let me explain what I mean. I got myself in a situation at the age of 17. Impregnated my girlfriend. at the age of 17 I got to be a father. Now when you're looking at the father being a father it comes with so much responsibilities that you now have to look after. But what happened is that my mother took the baros burden my father took the baron's burden my family took the baron's burden to help me to grow up this kid but do you know what was my burden to carry which is the portion side is to make sure that even somebody else has feed that child, I must be the one that take care of the child in a different way. Let me make an example Some of us are abandoned children And abandoned was the portion of the father and the mother to look after that child. But the unfortunate part is they did not take care of that portion part, that burden. They gave it to the baros part. If I must say to you today, when my son Lytton, not Lytton, the eldest one, Shanrik, yeah. When my son Shanrik was born, it was my burden to carry to make sure that this kid gets to grow up at a place where I teach him how to become a man. But I made it a baros onto my family. That burden to my family. And they carried it nicely. Let me make an example to you. There's sometimes whenever you do things, you unfortunately have to be looking at two ways of this situation. You have to be selfish. Let me explain. When you are selfish, you will have a toothache and you will be in a situation where somebody got so hurt next to you that you don't care about them because of the toothache that you are having at this moment. Imagine a landmine hits somebody's leg off next to you. But the toothache is so severe, it's not even enough that a person can die next to you. Because you want to make sure that you are good. That is not even the worst part. this is the part where anybody gets into a plane will tell you anybody gets into a plane will tell you the first thing when this plane crashes you must not be going and give a mask to somebody else you need to take care of that mask first put the mask on yourself before you can put it on to somebody else and that is the portion part of your life so you have to have that burden where you know if you make a mistake here you will be the one that carries the after effects of that Now you might be asking me where I'm going. Same English word. Same English word. Burden. But two different Greek words. Paul stays consistent across those three verses. Some things are weight that crushes. Other things are your own pack and you are meant to carry it. It's God meant for you to be able to take that mask on you first before you take it on to somebody else. The two parts where it starts in Galatians if you take it side by side a way is a crisis Someone is under something too heavy that it needs another person to help you. Bishop, there's a song, I think it's Bynum or something I will try and sing it I can't get this woman's name now but I see the woman in my face but I yeah this is how the song goes says I need you you need me we're all a part of God Stand with me Agree with me It is his will For every need be supplied You are important to me I need you to survive Huh? So it's imperative that you understand some of the things that you get burdened for is to be able to help each other. The Bible also say it is very much better for two to agree on one thing. Because if how can they walk together if they have not agreed upon the route? this is where I'm coming now. I need you to clearly define the difference between somebody misusing you and somebody using you. Because there's a difference. A difference is if I am the one that always look out for my kids Let me make an example of my wife Let me make that example Do you know what is when kids are using you Kids are the worst manipulators you can find. They can manipulate you like nobody's business. Laverne can say, I can't wash dishes because I'm busy studying. She can say that. No, she doesn't say that. I'm just making an example because Laverne can do that thing without even you asking her. I'm making an example of her because I know she won't take offense because she knows it's not true. When Laverne comes at home and the mother comes at 5 o'clock asking, but why is there still dishes of this morning and I must cook again? Do you know what they can say? No, I've been busy studying. now they then it goes as far as my wife then doing the dishes and that is where abuse comes in this is where the difference comes in somebody who's been working for the whole nine hours because she doesn't do eight she works nine hours for the whole nine hours she's been working, get home and still have to work on such things as well. Still had to work on such things as well. Now my question to you is, is that right? for somebody who came home at about two o'clock and it take you 10 minutes to 15 minutes to do dishes, but you're expecting somebody else to do their dishes. Somebody who has been constantly working for nine hours now have to do it It not right Now my wife have to know that when is it time for the kids to be able to take care of herself because if she constantly do that dishes, do you know what will happen? It will become her responsibility and not the responsibility of the kids anymore. That will become a burden that was supposed to be a baros burden that should have been carried by a few people together now became a portion burden which you have placed upon yourself. so know when do you place a portion burden on yourself because a portion burden is a burden only you will be able to carry a barose burden is something you can carry together so please let us carry everything we can together but I'm asking you also the one that you can carry on your own that is supposed to be your own do that on your own carry that on your own because if I look at it money is easy to explain You know why I'm saying money is easy to explain? Because everybody can easily understand when you speak about money. If I get paid 25,000 rent a month, yes, 25,000 rent a month, and my bills are 30,000 rent a month. Oh. So the day of payday is 25. Most of the time my payday is 25. On the 25th, my sister will call me Candice. Whitley, Carmen, Lani, my brother, what is, I'm going to say Henry, but Richard, I will say that, Apple. They call me. I'm asking five ramb. Bishop, already I'm five thousand above what I'm getting. They ask only five ramb. Five rand is not a lot of money. Your question should be, should I be able to give them or just tell them I can't afford it? That's the unfortunate part. Somebody telling you, you need to be at my house on Thursday, eight o'clock. But you know for a fact that by eight o'clock you must be at work. would you tell that person, yes, we are sharp? You can't do that. That is a burden that you can't take because your workplace, sometimes it's better to look after it so that they can look after you. I'm just making an examples. It sounds stupid examples, but it helped. Some things are weighed that we need to carry together. But you come first. You as a person come first. Be selfish in some ways. This is what I didn't want to say, Bishop. But I need to say it. I was contemplating on how can I say it so that it doesn't sound harsh. But I need to say it. When that woman abuse you, don't think it's your burden to carry. Tell her, go. It not your burden if somebody is abusing you they been abusing you for far too long it not your burden to carry don't say God has sent me this man now I must carry this abuse do you know sometimes we make as if God is the one that sent us this partner that is making us punching bags. And we keep on saying it's my burden to carry. To hell with it man. Tell that woman, tell that man. It's been too long. This is not my burden to carry. I can't take it. If a pastor is keep on putting you on the spot and say you must go and pray for those people it's not your burden if you don't feel called to go and pray for those people. It's not your burden. Tell that pastor, no, no, no. sometimes we need to understand the difference why am I feeling uncomfortable when somebody asks me this the first thing I thought of but I don't want to do it now you don't want to disappoint the person and the burden becomes yours that burden becomes yours imagine somebody asking you to leave your family for a whole week to take his mother to Zimbabwe for the whole week to go and play slots, water slots, gambling, to gamble. You must now go take somebody to go and gamble for a whole week in, let's call it, Sun City. And your kids is crying at home. Daddy, I miss you. You have been working for so many years for this person and the person gives you two rent increase It's a burden. Because when you get home and the kids ask for a two rent just to buy a suite, you don't have it. It's a burden that you're not supposed to carry. I'm looking at my I'm looking at my notes and I'm thinking I have said enough because if I said even more I would water down this message I think we have come to a place where we understand what it is if Peter had a problem why does he make Jesus this problem Jesus problem now Jesus had to go and tell him to go and fish let me let me read 1st Timothy 5. 1st Timothy 5. And I want us to read verse 8. 1st Timothy 5 verse 8 says the following. But if any provide not for his own. And specifically for those of his own house. He had denied the faith. and is worse than an infidel. Bishop, I see it. It hits nicely. It's not me that says it. It's my Bible. It's my Bible that says it. But if any provide not for his own and especially, especially for those of his own house, he had denied the faith and is worse than an infidel. For two years I have not worked For two years I been an infidel Bishop that what the word said For two years I've been an infidel. And I'm talking about two years only between 2018. Neiman, when was it? Okay, let's say 2020. When did COVID start? 2020, no? Then 2021 till 2023, I did not work. Bishop, you remember? I didn't work. So I was an infidel. I couldn't support my family. but some of us are infidel because we allow people to make us to be infidel not to look after our families do you know what I mean you accept that increase that is not enough you accept that payment Let me make an example of you. Sorry, Bishop, I'm starting. This one. You accept the 200 rent for fixing the brake pads. While the same fixing of brake pads, if you go to the same car, let's say it's a Kia, a VW, a Toyota. If you go to the Toyota garage or the VW garage, they don't even charge 200 rent for labor. Then people want you to take that 200 rent because you don't have any other money to take care of. So sometimes we do give our burdens to ourselves. Because if I now decide I don't want to work a certain time, I must stand by my word. Because if it means I'm losing my soul, it plays a burden upon me. I think I've made my point now. Sometimes we have to say it once. You have to say it kindly. And you have to keep your word. The reason it feels so hard is that we say yes in a panic. and then sometimes we say no in rage but neither one is love we panic yes yes yes let me do it then you get angry and frustrated no look at Jesus again he spoke first he asked a calm question he told Peter the truth about who owed what and then he acted he met the collectors he kept the argument out of the street he made a clear decision and paid what was right a calm no when it is said early is kinder than a resentful yes that has been said later. People can plan around a clear answer, but they cannot plan around the mood you have at that moment. Because our mood up and down, up and down, up and down. Yeah, some people will be upset. Bishop, can you do my car, what is the break pads? I only have 50 run. Some will be angry. Some will feel, yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't. All you have to do is, Aibo, what are you taking me for? Because you devalue me You devalue me Sometimes if you are the one asking hear this too The person you ask is a person Sometimes it's not a bank as well. Sometimes it's not a a psychologist. Let's call it that way. Do you know what I mean by psychologist? You ask the person, you know, They make me angry at home. Please go and speak to them before I hit somebody and tomorrow I'm in jail. You're not a psychologist. Let them go and do their own. Let them fight their own fights. Sometimes the burden you carry, you're the reason why you have that burden. You're the reason why you have that burden. If you take your, let's call it, if you take stock and see how many times you have said yes, where you were supposed to say no. don't you think you would have been better off I'm sorry I'm visual imagine the amount of no's that you could have said to somebody would have opened up a space for somebody who have a bigger fee to pay to you because you were busy fixing 700 rand thing while somebody comes with a 5000 rand thing now wanting you to fix it now and you can't say yes because of you have already committed to 700 rand I'm making an example with you I'm not picking on you I'm just making an example on you so that it can just get easier to explain you know Because being a mechanic sometimes comes with a lot of no's as well. Because the first time you say yes to their ridiculous not amounts not amounts what is that thing? Demands. Sometimes they come with ridiculous demands. Like, no, I've asked you to fix my CV, but he knew that the control arm was also a problem. Now he wants you to fix the CV and the control arm with the same labor fee. Aibo, next, aye, aye, aye, no. We sometimes have to make sure that we set the boundaries. Yes. And it's easier for me to make an example with you because it's just quicker. So that I don't waste time and give you a lot more that is quite harder to explain. Sometimes the burden you put is the burden you put on yourself. I mean, sometimes the burdens you carry, sorry, is the burden that you've put on yourself. certain things that has weigh you down. Please be selfish. Because sometimes you take up somebody else's burden and make it your own. If it's not your burden, say, I'm sorry. This one, I can't carry. But if it's a burden that you can carry together, also be willing to carry it. You know, some of the burdens we have, if I make an example, if you are blessed, I will be blessed. If you get paid higher salary, I will be blessed by that. because Bishop there's sometimes that you feel like you want to buy me something Let get into the prophetic quickly And every time whenever you think of this specific thing bread comes in So if you have more money for what you have already needed. Don't you think I will also be feeling, hey this man is looking nicely up at me. I'm just making an example, but this is prophetic because I saw you look at something and then when you wanted to do it, you are like, I'm shot off. It was more or less 300 somewhere around there let's call it 200 and something, 350, but it's not 400. It's not 200. It's in between. And then when you look at the thing, you are like, yes, I want to do this. Do you know why it didn't happen that you did it? It's because of if you would have done it, that would have been a blessing that has put you. Satan used it to stop you from gaining a momentum because I saw you on a horse. On a horse. The donkey. I saw you on a donkey. going to the place. And the moment you took it, you went back with the horse. And that horse was so fast that you couldn't keep up and you had to contain the horse. You have to hold it slower, slower, slower. because the speed you were not used to. You were used to the donkey and then this horse is doing too much and you slow it down. and I saw you saying to the horse, but let me let go, because the quicker I move, the faster I get there, and your horse is here today, like as I'm speaking to you today, take the horse, the leash, is that what you call it? Take the horse's leash and don't hold too hard because of panic. Bishop, I'm in prophetic here. You are in panic. You are in panic. You are in panic. Don't panic. Let loose. Because the speed that this horse wants to go. Is higher than what you are used to. And as you are releasing. I saw you taking it with the left hand. and think that you wanted to hit, but your lifting of your hands wasn't a hit to the horse. It was a lift to God that said, thank you, God, you did it. Thank you, God, you did it. Because the moment... I forgot this thing is still on. I don't want to put
