Why do I feel behind in life?

It is a Tuesday morning, or a Sunday night, and something in you goes quiet. Maybe the numbers have stung lately, or maybe it is just a quiet unease, a feeling that everyone else got a memo you missed. You look at where you are. You look at where you thought you would be. And the gap feels wide. Paul wrote these words from a prison cell in Rome, to ordinary people carrying that same weight, and what he said stops everything:

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."

- Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

Before tonight, finish this one sentence in your phone notes or on paper: 'Something changed in me when...' Think of one moment. One thing you no longer do. One fear that loosened. Read it back once. That is not nothing. That is a work still being built.

What is one thing in you that has quietly shifted over the last year, even if it is small?

Father, I cannot always see what You are building in me. Help me trust that You have not walked away from the work You started. Keep going, even on the days I feel unfinished. Amen.
