Is it possible to actually love my family well when I'm this depleted? - Fountain of Grace International

Maybe you have felt it lately. The people you love most get the least of you, and you are not sure how to fix that. Perhaps there are moments at home where you wonder if you have anything real left to give. That is an honest place to be, and God meets you right there. This is what he says into exactly that emptiness:

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

- Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

Before you go to sleep tonight, sit quietly for two minutes and simply tell God what you are carrying at home. No performance, no long prayer. Just hand it over. Ask him to renew what you cannot renew yourself. Then notice tomorrow morning whether you wake up carrying it alone.

What would it look like to let God be the source today, instead of trying to find enough strength in yourself?

Lord, I do not have enough left on my own. Renew my strength the way only you can, so that the people I love at home get something real from me today. I trust you with this. Amen.
