Why do I always hold back around people?

You are sitting in the meeting, or at the table, or in the group chat, and you have something to say. Maybe you are not sure your thoughts would land well, or maybe something else entirely keeps you quiet. So you stay small. You nod. The moment passes. And on the way home you think about what you could have said. That gap between what is inside you and what you let out is real. Jesus speaks right into it.

"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."

Before tonight, say one thing you would normally keep to yourself. One honest opinion at dinner. One real answer when someone asks how you are doing. Pick one person, one moment. That is enough for today.
