Why does it feel like nobody cares?

You sent the message. No reply. You sat at the table, or stood in the kitchen, or drove home in silence, and that quiet felt like an answer. Like proof that you don't matter enough for someone to check. That feeling is not weakness. It is one of the heaviest things a person can carry. David knew it. He wrote Psalm 34 while hiding in enemy territory, faking madness just to stay alive, completely alone. And from that exact place, he wrote this.

"The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."

Before tonight ends, say this once, out loud if you can manage it, even just in the bathroom with the door shut: 'Lord, I feel like nobody sees me. But You are close.' That is enough. One sentence, spoken once, is not a small thing. It is you choosing His nearness over the silence.

What would change today if you believed, even a little, that the one who made you has not looked away?

Lord, I feel unseen and I will not pretend otherwise. But Your word says You are near to the broken-hearted, and that is me right now. I receive that. Amen.
