Does God actually see me, or am I easy to overlook?

Some days the question is not dramatic. It sits quietly. Maybe it sounds something like: what if I am the kind of person who just gets passed over? Not a crisis, maybe more like a low hum you carry to work on a Friday morning. If something like that is with you today, you are not strange for feeling it. And God has a direct answer for it.

"How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee."

Before you get to lunch today, stop for thirty seconds wherever you are, a parking lot in Pretoria North, a staff room, a kitchen. Say the first line of that verse out loud with your own name in it: 'How precious are thy thoughts unto me.' Let that be the thing you heard from God this morning.

Lord, I bring the quiet doubt that I am easy to miss. Speak louder than it today. Help me carry Your words about me into every hour. Amen.
