How do I make a wise decision when I feel completely stuck?
Pretoria North · 30 August 2026

Being stuck is its own kind of exhaustion. You turn the same decision over and over, you ask people, you make a list, and you still cannot see the way forward. Sometimes the problem is not that you lack information. It is that you are trying to carry something that was never meant to sit on your shoulders alone. God does not ask you to figure it out first and then invite Him in. He asks to go first.
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
- Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
Before you open your phone or ask anyone else about the thing weighing on you today, stop for sixty seconds and say it out loud to God. Name it plainly. Then read Proverbs 3:5-6 once, slowly. Let that be the first voice you hear on it today.
Lord, I have been leaning hard on my own understanding and getting nowhere. I bring this decision to You right now. Direct my path today. I trust You with what I cannot figure out. Amen.
