How do I stop overthinking everything?
By Ricardo Zaal, Founder and Lead Pastor ·

It is 11 at night and your brain is still going. The same thought, the same worry, the third loop in an hour. You are not broken. A mind that cannot stop is a mind that is carrying too much, and you were not built to carry it alone. God does not tell you to think better or calm down faster. He made a straight promise:
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
- Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)
Before you sleep tonight, write down the one thought that has been loudest today. One sentence on paper or your phone. Write Isaiah 26:3 right under it. Then say out loud, 'I am giving this to You.' That is it. One worry, one verse, one breath.
What would it feel like to go to sleep tonight without carrying that thought by yourself?
Lord, my mind is tired and I cannot fix that on my own. I am turning toward You right now, not because I feel peaceful, but because You promised to keep me. Hold my thoughts tonight. Amen.
