Why can't I stop scrolling on my phone?

It is past midnight. The blue light of your phone is the only thing in the room. You keep swiping, not because anything on the screen is helping, but because the moment you put it down, all the noise inside your head gets louder. The worry about tomorrow. The thing someone said. The question with no answer yet. That pull to keep scrolling is your mind looking for somewhere to put all of it. God has a better place for it.

"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

Before you close your eyes tonight, write down the one thing sitting heaviest on you right now. One sentence is enough. Then say out loud, or just whisper it: "I'm giving this to you." Put the phone face down after that. Let the quiet be the answer.

What would tonight feel like if you went to sleep knowing someone bigger than you was holding the hardest part of your day?
