Why am I so tired all the time?

You woke up tired again. Not the kind that a good night fixes. This is the tired that sits behind your eyes and follows you into the shower, into the car, into another day that asks more than you have. You are not weak. You are carrying something heavy, and you have been carrying it for a long time. Here is what God says into that exhaustion:

"And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope."

- Romans 5:3-4 (KJV)

Tonight, before you sleep, write two things on a scrap of paper. One thing that is harder for you now than it was two years ago. One thing you can handle now that you could not handle then. That second thing is real. It is evidence that something in you has been growing, quietly, through all of this.

What would change in you today if you believed this exhaustion was not the end of your story, but part of it?

God, I am tired in ways I cannot explain. But I do not want to miss what you are building in me. Hold me through this, and let what is being formed in me be worth it. Amen.
