Why do I always give more than I receive in relationships? - Fountain of Grace International

"And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

- Matthew 22:39 (KJV)
You’re the quiet giver. The one who checks in, stays late, holds space. So why does it often feel like a one-way street? Maybe you've convinced yourself it's love, or duty, but there’s a deeper current here. Can you feel its drag? It's an uneven dance - your steps always moving toward them, never together. Maybe they’re not cruel or unkind, just unknowingly greedy for what you hand out so freely. Imagine a momentary pause - the stillness of a dropped stone, revealing the heart of your giving. Consider how the Good Book says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” - but not if your giving hollows you out. The balance, it turns out, isn’t in tallying up acts - it's in knowing your worth. What if you dared to ask, "How will you fill me today?" Blessings - Fountain of Grace International
