Will the sadness I carry ever actually lift?

Grief is long. Seven days of sitting with it, and it still does not feel done. But look at what God says here. Not that the tears were wasted. Not that you imagined the pain. He says you were sowing.

"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy."

- Psalm 126:5 (KJV)

Write down one thing God brought you through before this loss. One real moment, with a name or a date attached. Hold that in your hands today as proof that He does not abandon a story halfway through.

Lord, I cannot see the harvest yet. But I trust You with the seeds I have sown in sorrow. Bring the joy You promised, in Your time. Amen.
