Will God's faithfulness hold for my whole life?
Pretoria North · 12 August 2026

You have been waiting a long time. Long enough to wonder if this particular silence means something is wrong, or worse, that you have been forgotten. It has not felt like a full life of goodness. It has felt like a long stretch of nothing. But you have been measuring faithfulness in weeks, and God is working across a lifetime. Step back and look at the whole road, not just the hard section you are standing on right now. This is what David knew, even after his own years of hiding and loss:
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."
- Psalm 23:6 (KJV)
Before tonight, think of one moment from your past where things looked impossible and God came through anyway. Write it down, even one line on your phone. Let that one memory be your evidence today that His faithfulness did not run out then, and it will not run out now.
Lord, I have been so close to the hard part that I forgot the whole story. Remind me today of where You have already been faithful to me. I choose to trust that Your goodness is still following me, even now. Amen.
