Will God still provide when the whole year has been hard?

A whole year of tight months can make you wonder if you have somehow slipped through the cracks. You do the maths and it still does not add up. That fear is real, and you are not the first person to feel it. But David looked back over an entire lifetime, not just one good month, and this is what he found:

"I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."

- Psalm 37:25 (KJV)

Before you sleep tonight, think of one moment in the past year where money came through in a way you did not fully arrange yourself. Write it down, even one line on your phone. Let that one moment be the evidence that God has not stopped watching.

Father, I have been close to fear this week. Help me to zoom out and see your hand over my whole life, not just today's lack. I trust that you have not forsaken me, and you will not start now. Amen.
