When I look back, does my life actually add up to anything? - Fountain of Grace International

Some mornings you look back and all you see is the gaps. The years that felt wasted. The people who left. The version of yourself you thought you would be by now. That weight is real. But David wrote Psalm 23 as a man who had failed badly, lost deeply, and still lived long enough to see what God had actually been doing the whole time. He did not see a scattered mess. He saw goodness and mercy, right behind him, every single day.

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

- Psalm 23:6 (KJV)

Today, write down three moments from your past where something good came out of something hard. They do not have to be big. A friendship that survived. A job that ended and opened a door. One person who showed up. Read those three back slowly, and let that be your evidence.

Lord, I have not always been able to see what You were doing. But I choose to trust that You have been faithful even in the years I thought were lost. Thank You for not giving up on my story. Amen.
