Does God's love for me change when I keep getting things wrong? - Fountain of Grace International

Some days you wake up already counting your failures. You said the wrong thing. You slipped back into that old habit. You wonder if God is slowly losing patience with you, the way people sometimes do. That fear is real. But Paul did not write a nice thought when he wrote Romans 8. He wrote something he was convinced of, down to his bones, after years of his own wreckage.

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

- Romans 8:38-39 (KJV)

Write this on a piece of paper today: 'Nothing I did this week changed how God feels about me.' Put it somewhere you will see it before tonight. Not as a excuse to stay where you are, but as the ground to stand on while you walk forward.

Father, I keep expecting You to pull away. Thank You that Your love is not waiting for me to get it right. Hold me in that love today, even where I am ashamed. Amen.
