What no one tells you about feeling unready

I just want to say somebody here is obviously going through a lot of things, not just here, but wherever you are online, wherever you are in your house, wherever you're listening this from, everybody have some sort of a way of having certain things that is not working out and so on. but everybody also have a way of saying, I will do things later. But the message I have today, this message is for the person who has been waiting to feel ready for years to start something. The one who started having a business idea before, but never started a business, had a plan in their minds, but never did it. and this message is also for the person who said, once I have the money, I will start. Regardless of whatever your reason is, you're not starting something. This message specifically is for you, and I want to take a moment and ask you, if you get to a point where you have the few minutes before dying and you decided that few minutes before dying what you should have, could have, and it might be too late. And I'm not saying that this is a bad thing, but I'm just saying this as a good thing that you are on the side where you still have the time, you still have the resources. Sometimes when we're looking at those times, it's where God is telling us actually that we have been having a lot in our hands but we never used it I was asked during the course of this week about our baptism facilities and somebody on our website asked do you have baptism facilities. And in my mind I almost said no don worry we can make a plan for you But immediately when I did that it made me to realize but it not my facility to tell somebody that we can make a plan because one of the members of Fountain of Grace do have a swimming pool and it's not a deep swimming pool from one side. Although it's a huge swimming pool, but it's just a shallow when you're on the one side. It's just about, let's say, a meter, meter point two, something like that. So that you can use as a baptism facility. And in my mind, I was like, yo, that's an opportunity, especially in the greater area of Pretoria. Pretoria, not specifically. You can use that as a baptism facility and rent it out to people. You can even use that same pool as giving children swimming lessons or even use it as a, it's so big that you can even use it as a, you can have like a swimming competition. But what I'm trying to say is that sometimes we don't see the things is so close to us and yet we don't see it's actually something that we can make use of. So this message is for somebody who believe that readiness comes first, then God sends us. Because get ready, then go. But soon you will understand that the Bible has many ways of showing you that where you are, you are already ready. You are already ready. You are ready to start that business. Because if you're looking at it, our society has changed so much and work for argument's sake or businesses has changed so much that you don't need a big team to start a business. When AI came, they took over a lot of business specific tasks that one can do. But yet you're still looking for something to feel ready with. So this is who my message is for. I want us to go to Matthew Let read Matthew 9 And I want I going to show you specifics show you specifics that we will emphasize on Matthew 9.37. If you are there, let's read Matthew 9.37. Now, Matthew 9.37 says the following. Then say it here unto his disciple. The harvest truly is plenteous. but the laborers are few. Pray he therefore, the Lord of harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest. Now, my question to you is that if you listen to this, he says harvest truly is plenteous. Meaning to say that there's already a harvest for you. to harvest from, but yet your labor has not attached to the harvest. And therefore, the question today is, if you say you're not yet ready, there is already a harvest for you. That's the one scripture. Let's go to Matthew 10, verse 1 as well. And when he had called unto him, his 12 disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirit to cast them out to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Can you see? I want you to look at this. He said that the harvest is truly plenteous. Just as he said, the harvest is truly plentious. It goes on and it reads, and when he had called unto him his 12 disciples, he gave them power. Just listen to this. The harvest is there. Then he gave them power against unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Now I want you to go to the same Matthew 10 verse 7 Now Matthew 10 verse 7 says the following And as ye go preach saying the kingdom of heaven is at hand heal the sick, cleanse the leper, raise the dead, cast out devils, freely have received, freely give. Now, my question to you is, when he said this, go out there, he didn't just say go out there without equipping them. Now my question to you is, if you think that this is only been given to disciples, think again. Let me take this opportunity and ask you, if you're looking to your life as the years went by have you looked at your life and thought by yourself why is it that people always come with problems to you and every time you think that you are just a good listener you think that you are just a good listener don't you know that that is part of counseling that is a ministry that you can start so that's not just a ministry but that is a support group waiting to be born and yet you think you're not yet ready just start my message is entitled just start and for you to start it's very important to understand that you don't need to start having all the things in line or ready no, you don't have to because some of the things that has been given to us It has just been given to us already without knowing you have it. And I want to show you what I mean by that. I want to show you what I mean by that. I need you to think of a time, and this specifically, if I make an example, if we go to family gatherings, Normally, family gatherings would start and say, family gatherings would start and say, Auntie Nell will make the noodles salad. So they know that that specific salad is my wife's speciality. But when you're looking at it, this is not just food. This is a catering business that can start. Think of things in your life and ask yourself the question. Have you seen how many times there's things in your life that proves that you are already ready to take that on. Have you seen that? I want you to look at another. Let's make another example. Every time, whenever somebody is actually asking you that you should record this. You are very funny. Your voice is so calming. You just brush it off. You just say, not even thank you. Your inferiority has spoken a lot of times saying, but no, it's fine. Not knowing That is a podcast that can start. That is a YouTube helpline that can start. Some people have been so funny that even the fun will help people to go through this ugly thing called life Just start My message is entitled Just Start. Sometimes things as small as you making sure that your house is always clean. Your house is spotless. You know, you love organizing things. not knowing that is a organizing service that you can start by somebody else's house. These are things that you can start. And don't tell me that no, there's not money. Let me give you an idea. use it, don't use it. That's up to you. When you have family that knows that you cook food nicely, this is what you should do. You should say, guys, this Saturday, I'm having a plate for 80 bucks. If you want that plate, For 80 bucks, send me Capitex cent, send me e-wallet, send me a Standard Bank cash cent, or just give me the money cash. Before Saturday, if people really like your food, they will really pay for that. Way before you have to use money to do that. And can I guarantee you now, if people think that your food is that good, they will immediately send that money knowing that it will only be for Saturday. And if you think that is a one size only. Let me make an example of another one. Do you know that businesses when they used to start they used to first set the business either start with the logo start with the branding start with everything first and then only they start with clients first Last, I mean. So it's a business first, then clients last. But in the days of today, you don't start business that way. You start a business with a client first mindset. it. You're looking at specifically what clients would want. Then you send out a request either via Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, whatever platform there is. And you ask them on a specific thing that you would like to start. When you do that, you will see the demand first before, way before you start a website, way before you start even a logo, way before your company is even registered or under CIPC. Yet we have been taught that first you have to start the business before you get the client. Which is so wrong. Now God has given us the harvest in plenty already. And yet he prepared us way before he sent us out. way before he sent us out. Have you realized that there's so many kids coming to your house most of the time and every time when they are there, they love being around you. And you never thought of starting a children's ministry, a creche, or even a after-school haven. Have you thought about it? What is it in your life specifically now that you are good at Are you good at hosting family gatherings Why not start an events company And don't start it with money first. Start it with ask first. You sell first before you start. Sell it first before you start. I remember I said to somebody once, I said to him, do you know that God is asking you to go into event management? And the person was laughing. And at the same time, when he was laughing, he said, and I love it. Do you know that? I said, yes, because I know it's a prophetic word. but up till today he has not taken up that prophetic word and I want you to understand something sometimes you don't need a prophetic word no let me help you with prophetic if you are looking at I'm trying to check one of these corners. Because sometimes there's two or three type of people that you are. and because you are stronger in the one, it does not mean that the other one should not be there. And when I looked at it, two things that stood out for me was the fact that I investigate a lot of things literally before I start something. And I am being very helpful to others. And yet, both of them fighting each other. Now, when you're looking at how life has given us a lot of times examples what we ought to do, but yet we don't believe God can tell us that we should be doing that. Now, if you go to. And he go preach, saying that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the leper, raise the dead, cast out devils. Freely have received, freely give. So we read this as Jesus picking his top team and deploying his best people But look at who they were They were people who was never even being theologically good. these are people who were not trained in if you can call it Judaism. Judaism. They were not trained. They had no track record. But yet Jesus chose them. The fishermen calling them to do the same thing they have been doing, go out there and become fishers of men. The same thing you've been doing. Just do it. You don't need to go and do an undergraduate diploma in certain things because God has been ordaining you already. He didn't send them after three years of preparation. Like the way we are so used to, society has teached us or has indoctrinated into us that you cannot go far if you don't have a degree, if you don't have a diploma, if you don't have a certificate. it. But yet, if I look at, what's this guy, this guy of Virgin Active, Brian Bryson, can't remember what's, okay, but that guy of Virgin Active, who started Virgin Active, he's dyslexia. And I think he left school when he was 16 years of age. I don't know what grade was that. and even he started Virgin Airlines and he's one of the richest guys not one of the richest but he's rich sometimes we have so many excuses I don have money But if you looking at I don have money that the worst excuse that most people can give because money does not make a business start. As I was just explaining to you now, start by giving the idea, let people pay you for the idea, and then you start executing the idea. Sometimes we say, no, we're too old. Let me explain to you what does old mean. Do you know Kentucky? Colonel Saunders. What does that mean? He was over 60, 65, somewhere around there. When he started Kentucky, many a times he was rejected for his recipe. Some, but it's speculated that it was over a thousand times that he got no's. No, no. And yet he kept on keeping on. Today, it's a brand that everybody knows as KFC. Old man. An old man. An old man. Just start. Now, this is not Jesus rewarding readiness. This is Jesus handing authority to the unready and saying, go. Now, when you're looking at the Greek or the Hebrew word sent forth and sent, the Greek is apostello. The Greek is apostello to be sent out. Now, apostello, this is where the, what is this thing called? This is where the word Apostle come from. The root of the word Apostle, an Apostle is not somebody who felt ready It somebody who was sent So an apostle is somebody who was sent Now, to send somebody out with authority as a representative on a commission, this is what sent means. Now, the authority is not on how ready you feel. it is the one who sent you. It is the one who sent you. Sometimes we feel like we need to feel like an apostle before we can actually be ready to be sent out. No, apostle. You're already an apostle. You are already an apostle. The one who is sent is an apostle. I will get a fight for this one. Yo, yo, yo. How can you say somebody who is sent is already an apostle? What if the child is 12 years? He's already an apostle. Yes, he is. Jesus was an apostle at the age of 12. he was sent out. Fight me for ideas. Come for me on social media. I know they like to come for me. Apostle is the one who is sent. Now God moves. He gives you an authority and assignment before you feel qualified. God has already been qualifying you from the beginning when you were younger, you already had a way of knowing who you are, although you have not yet practiced it. You have not yet practiced it. No, I'm just saying that's a guide to teach you at least in what direction you should be going into. Now, God gave the disciples the power first, then afterwards, he gave them, he sent them out. God will not send you if he haven't been equipped at you. equipped it, equipped it, equipped it. Whatever that English word is, yeah. He has prepared you. God will not send you out if He has not been preparing you. He gave them power first, which is Matthew 10 verse 1, then in verse 7 he said to them now go the power came before the going not after they earned it and you who have been doing things feeling not yet ready but God has already prepared you Let us read 2 Corinthians 5. I mean 2 Corinthians 3, sorry. Now 2 Corinthians 3 and verse 5. I want us to read verse 5. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God Meaning to say that you are sufficient because God is sufficient I remember there was a time when I was working for a cold chain I think that time we were called Merkur Solution. Yeah, Merkur Solution because we were wearing the blue, light blue shirts. Yes, it was Mercos Solutions at that time. I went into a spa in Rudeport somewhere. I see the spa now, but I can't remember. But it's somewhere in Rudeport. It's a big spa. And as I went into the spa, I spoke to the manager. At that time, we were dealing with Derry Bell juices or Derry Bell products, juice, milk, whatever the case may be. We were doing all the dairy build products. And this manager was trying to tell me they only need a six pack of the 1.5 juice, six units of orange juice, six units of apple, six units of mango orange. And I can't remember, but it was like a few. And yet the order would be delivered just before a weekend of a payday. And I had a reasoning with the manager. And I said to him, listen, if you take only six of these, by the time it gets in onto the shelves, your shelves will look empty because by now there's already not enough stock on the shelves and by that time it would be payday and people would be buying six like nobody's business and i made him to take about six times six which was 36 of all of those things except one I remember there was one flavor or one type that wasn't a fast seller and I said that one you can keep at six but the rest you can keep it at six because it a fast mover or fast lane We call it a fast lane I don know why we call it like that but it a fast mover So when I spoke to this manager, another regional manager or national manager stood there listening to me selling this to that manager. and as I turned around, she even called me aside and said to me, look, please, I need you to come and work for me. At that time, I was getting like 6,000 rent a month. Although there was 6,000 rent a month, you at least get the petrol money, you get the car, anything is fixed. And here, this woman says, starting you off with the 14,000 rent. That's double the salary. And she said for the first three months, it will be 9,000 rent. As we're doing the, what is that thing called? Probation. but the 9,000 rent is not because you are going to drive. It's just going to be the training. And then when you start working, it will be 14,000 rent coming from a 6,000 to a 14 hours life. Yes, let's do it. let's do it not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves but our sufficiency is of God let's cut that Okay, let me do this. Our sufficiency is of God. Now, from what I've said to you up to thus far, God gave you power first before he sent you out. Then he gave you what you already had. he did not give them a resume or a CV what we call that he didn't give us a CV he sent them as they were like some of them were fishermen and all and the power flowed through ordinary men so God is giving you what you already have what you already have. Exodus 4 verse 10 to 12 says, And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent. Did you hear? Moses says, I'm not eloquent. So I believe he was a stutterer or he couldn't speak nicely. Moses. But yet God chose him to go. He sent them. And the Lord said unto him, Now therefore go and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee thou shalt say. So meaning to say that even if you're not yet ready, God will allow you or will help you to get ready. Let us read 1 Corinthians 1 verse 27. 1 Corinthians 1 verse 27 says the following there. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. And God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. Sometimes we need to understand that even though we don't have enough or we are too old or we are too young. You know, we use the excuse that we are too young. When Jesus was young, He taught people. And I'm not saying we are all Jesuses. No, no, no, no. We're not Jesus. But what I'm saying is that something that you already know, you can make use of that. For argument's sake, Lytton knows more about soccer than me. I don't know. Lytton can teach me. At the age of 13, he can teach me. Laverne knows better hockey than me. I don't know. I just know hockey, stick, hit, let's go. That's it. What do I know about it? The dance moves Laverne is doing today, I'm going to break my back. She can teach me how to do that Ravid thing. What is it, Ravid? sometimes as we grow older, we realize we don't know everything. And our kids knows better than what we know. Our kids knows better at certain things than what we know. God has ordained you. God has sent you. Apostoles. Apostolos. You are a sent one. The thing he did not tell them to go store up first and give once they had plenty He said what you have already received start giving it now You do not start when your cup is full. You start pouring and watch him filling it. Matthew 10 verse 8. Heal the sick, cleanse the leper, raise the dead, cast out devils, freely receive, freely give. I need you to go to Jeremiah. Jeremiah 1 verse 6. Then said, I, O Lord God, behold, I cannot speak, for I am a child. But the Lord said unto me, Say not I am a child, for thy shall go to all that I shall send thee. The one thing that you have been waiting for is no longer an excuse. The only thing you've been waiting for is no longer an excuse. I gave you a lot of examples what your excuses actually is. It's just a way of Satan messing up with your mind. Casting down the things in your mind. Casting down the things in your mind. Now, the example of being too old. Go to KFC. Being too young, go to Jeremiah. Not having anything. Go to. There's this lady. I think it's in Kings somewhere in Kings where what happened is that the lady was asked, what do you have? If I am a person who help a lot of people, I'm the helper. I can serve in the church by helping where it's necessary. if i am the thomas i can tell the church not to go into a business venture because of i have investigated it first you know what the thomas is a thomas is although he sees jesus he still wants to feel he's a realist. He wants to become real. Can I put my finger into your ribs to see if it's you? That's being a realist. Although everybody says it's easy to start a business, a realist will check all the consequences first. That's a Thomas. If you are a Thomas, don let somebody who who have it all figured out let you just do it without testing it first And I want you to do a few things this week. Number one is look at something specifically. specifically, that one thing that you have been waiting for to feel ready, and just do it. That call that you were supposed to make, just do it. That CV that you were supposed to update, just do it. That business that you were supposed to start, just do it. don't let the business idea die because there's no money don't let the business idea die because there's no time a business is only a business when you are not working in it let me say that again a business is only a business when you are not working in it. Otherwise, it's a glorified job. If you have a business and you're working 24-7 in that business, it means that it's not a business. It's an extra job that you have. A business is running with or without you, it will still run. That's a business. So you do have time to start a business. That conversation that you wanted to have so long with your parents telling them, hey, you're useless. You teach me this, but you do that. Tell them. Do it. Just do it. Because sometimes what we think our parents know, they don't know. And I understand some of them are literally harakat. They're not good parents. The moment you start saying, It's like as if you get a fight and you are too scared that they will warm clap you. But if you start speaking up your mind and let them know, this is how I think. They would understand you more. Because sometimes they don't understand you. Because of their own way of, this is how it should be and that's my way or the highway. No, your parents is not always right. Test it. Just say it so that you can see if your theory or whatever you think is correct. And I'm not saying be rebellious because there's a difference. If you say something with respect to your parents, it will earn respect back. I want you to take this week. Take the first real action on it anyway. Whatever it is, take an action. Before you feel ready, make that one phone call, one page, or just start. Now, next week, that voice that says, I just don't have enough. not enough money not enough time not enough strength for what is in front of me I going to show you a hungry crowd of 5000 a boy with five loaves and two little fish And what happened when that small thing was put in the right hands You are going to want to be here for that one. You want to be here for that one. Heavenly Father we have made so many mistakes in our lives that we tend to believe we are not enough we tend to believe we don't have enough we tend to believe we can't do enough but today I pray oh Lord Jesus that we As this message has went out, whatever you have laid upon our hearts, we are prepared to do it. And we will do it regardless whatever the consequences, because you have prepared us already in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let us share the grace. now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ the love of God and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit rest and abide with us all until Jesus comes surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever in Jesus mighty name Amen and Amen
