How do you forgive someone who never said sorry?

You are sitting with it again. Maybe in the car on the way to work, maybe lying awake at 22:47, turning it over. What they did. What they never said. And they have moved on fine, which somehow makes it worse. You are not weak for struggling here. This is one of the hardest things a person can do. But God, through Jesus, found a way to forgive before any of us ever said sorry, and He put the reason and the power for your forgiveness right there in one verse:

"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

- Ephesians 4:32 (KJV)

Write the person's name on a piece of paper today. Say out loud, just once, 'I hand this to God. It is His to carry now, not mine.' You do not have to feel ready. Do the action first. Forgiveness usually starts as a quiet decision, not a feeling.

What would it feel like to put that weight down, even just for today?

God, I cannot make them sorry, and I cannot fix what happened. But I do not want to carry this anymore. I hand it to You now. Forgive me the way I am trying to forgive them. Amen.
