How do I forgive someone who never said sorry?

You are standing at the kitchen sink, or stuck in traffic on the N1, and that person's face just lands in your head again. The thing they did. The fact that they never acknowledged it. And somewhere in you, forgiving them feels like letting them off the hook they deserve to stay on. That feeling is not weakness. It is not a sign that something is wrong with you. But Jesus said something plain about this, and he did not add a condition about waiting for an apology first.

"And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses."

Before tonight, say this once out loud, alone in your car or your room: 'God, I am not ready, but I am willing to be made willing.' Write it on your hand if you need to. That one sentence is not nothing. It is the door cracking open.

What would it feel like to carry this week without that weight pulling at you?

God, I am honest with you. I am not there yet, but I do not want to stay here. Make me willing where I am not. I trust you with what it costs me. Amen.
