I feel like I'm drowning and I can't catch my breath?

I feel like I'm drowning and I can't catch my breath? - Fountain of Grace International

It is Tuesday morning, maybe Wednesday, and you are already behind. The list is longer than yesterday. The messages are piling up. Someone needs something from you and you have nothing left to give. That feeling is not weakness. It is the sound of a person carrying more than one person was meant to carry alone. Jesus looked at people exactly like you and said this:

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

- Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Sometime before tonight, find two quiet minutes. It does not have to be a church or a special place. A parked car, a bathroom, a bench outside. Say out loud, or just in your head, "I am tired and I need rest." Then sit still and let that be enough. You do not have to perform.

What is one thing you are carrying today that was never yours to carry alone?

I am tired, God. Not just in my body but in my bones. I bring you this weight right now. Give me the rest you promised. I trust you with it. Amen.
