How do I know when to push through and when to stop?
Pretoria North · 19 July 2026

When you are running on empty, two voices fight in your head. One says push harder. The other says you cannot take another step. And somewhere in the middle you are just trying to survive the day. The Bible does not tell you to sprint through life without thinking. It tells you to pause and look at the road your feet are actually on.
"Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established."
- Proverbs 4:26 (KJV)
Before you start today, take two minutes with a pen and write down the three things that are draining you most right now. Then mark the one you can actually set down today, even just for a few hours. Not everything on your list needs your energy today.
What is one thing you keep carrying that was never yours to carry alone?
Lord, teach me the difference between faithful endurance and self-punishment. Show me what I need to set down today, and give me the wisdom to actually do it. I trust You to hold what I cannot. Amen.
