Why do I keep doing the things I hate?

You swore last week you were done with it. Maybe last night. And then this morning you did it again, the same thing, and before your feet hit the floor the shame was already there. It is a heavy way to start a Tuesday. You are not broken beyond understanding. God already knows exactly what you are made of, and he has never once been surprised by it.

"For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust."

- Psalm 103:14 (KJV)

Before you build a case against yourself today, stop and say this out loud, even just in the car or the bathroom: 'He knows my frame. He has not left.' One sentence. Let it land before the guilt gets loud again.

What would change in your day if you stopped trying to earn your way back and rested in being known?
