How long does God expect me to keep waiting?
Pretoria North · 8 August 2026

There is a moment in every long wait when you stop asking when and start asking why bother. You have prayed. You have trusted. Nothing has shifted. That silence can feel less like patience and more like being forgotten. You are not the first person to sit in that place, and God is not unaware that you are there. He speaks directly into it.
"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."
- Psalm 27:14 (KJV)
Take one minute today, before the day gets loud, and say out loud the one thing you are still waiting on. Then read Psalm 27:14 over it, slowly, twice. Let the words land as a promise, not a lecture. That minute is not small. It is you turning your face toward God instead of away from him.
Lord, my heart is tired of waiting and I will not pretend otherwise. Strengthen me today the way only you can. I choose to wait on you. Amen.
