Why is God taking so long to do something with my life? - Fountain of Grace International

Tuesday morning, September. You are at the same desk, the same job, possibly the same frustration. The feeling is not laziness. It is the ache of someone who knows there is more, but cannot see how to get there. That is not a sign that God has forgotten you. It might be the exact sign that he is working. Jeremiah wrote those words to people sitting in Babylon, not the promised land. Exiled. Waiting. And this is what God said to them.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

- Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

Write one sentence today. Literally one. On a scrap of paper or in your phone notes, finish this: 'One thing I am slowly becoming is...' Do not overthink it. What you write is what God is forming in you right now. Keep it.

Lord, I confess I have mistaken slow for stopped. Teach me to trust what I cannot yet see. You know the end from here, and that is enough for today. Amen.
