Is God actually doing something while nothing is happening? - Fountain of Grace International

You have been waiting a long time. Praying the same prayer. Watching nothing move. And somewhere under all the patience you have tried to hold, a quiet fear sits: what if this delay is just wasted time? It is not. The silence is not empty. God does some of his deepest work in you when your hands are empty and your calendar has no answer in it. He says it plainly:

"But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."

- James 1:4 (KJV)

Think of one thing you have today that you did not have before this waiting started, maybe a steadiness, a softer tongue, a faith that does not panic as easily. Name it quietly before God this morning. Tell him you see it. That is not nothing. That is the work.

Father, I believe you are building something in me that could not come any other way. Help me trust your process, even when I cannot see your progress. I am yours in the waiting. Amen.
