What if God is waiting for me to be honest with Him?

Sometimes prayer dries up not because God has gone quiet, but because we have started performing instead of talking. We say the right words, in the right order, but something underneath stays locked. It is easier to repeat a familiar prayer than to say the thing we are actually feeling. Maybe the drought is not in God at all. Maybe it is in the gap between what we are saying and what we really mean. David knew the difference, and God told him to close it:

"Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah."

- Psalm 62:8 (KJV)

Before tonight ends, find two minutes alone and say one true thing to God that you have been smoothing over. Not polished, not loud, just honest. One real sentence is worth more than ten minutes of careful words.
