Why do I talk about my goals and never start?

Maybe this is not the first time you have sat across from someone and talked about the thing you want to build. The coffee gets cold. They nod. You leave feeling lighter, like something moved. But maybe the document is still unopened, the application still blank, the first step still sitting exactly where you left it. That gap between talking and starting is one of the most human places there is. God put it plainly:

"Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone."

Pick one small step for that goal, something that takes under ten minutes, and do it before tonight. Not the whole plan. One thing. Send the email, open the file, write the first line. Tell nobody. Just do it.
