Why do I pray and nothing changes?

It is 5:40 on a Tuesday. You say the same words you said yesterday. And last week. The same names, the same fear, the same ask. You stop halfway and wonder if anyone is listening. Maybe you have run out of words. Maybe the words were never the point. God hears more than words, and the Bible says so plainly.

"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."

- Romans 8:26 (KJV)

Tomorrow, skip the usual words. Sit for one minute and say only this: 'God, I don't know what to ask for. You do.' Then stop talking and let the minute pass.

What would you say to God if you knew you could not say it wrong?

God, I keep saying the same things and I am tired. I don't know what to ask for anymore. You do. Take what I cannot put into words and answer it. Amen.
