Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. One of the things that I always have a look at and I always check is how we have a tendency to literally So, when I look at the things that we are going through in life, it's most of the time, the fact that we think things should be a certain way, but then it's not. And my message is entitled today, the real reason you have no real people in your life. The real reason you have no real people in your life. And this is coming in with the series that we have been running from three weeks ago, or must I say this is the fourth week now that this series is running. And this is the series of Jesus Blueprint or must I say He Moved series. And you remember I spoke to you on the first one, I spoke to you about identity, who Christ was. But as the series moved on, we are looking at Christ's life and find the blueprint that He has been using. So to say that where He became known to for over 2000 years now, people are still talking about Him. And I can tell you now the blueprint of this is the things that is following. So we will still be going on for quite some time on this blueprint. But the one we're touching on today is the real reason you have no real people in your life. But I would like to make sure that you understand who this message is for. This message is specifically for a person who would like to start a business and still waiting for the right people to come. You know, like a business partner, they can start with this. This message is for a person who keeps cutting off the people because of how they behave, because of how they talk, because of how they dress, because of how they don't do what you think they should be doing. And this is the reason the person who avoids someone also because of their job title. You know, like what I mean by this job title, you find somebody who is a CEO doesn't want to speak to a cleaner because of is below me. Or you find a cleaner who doesn't want to speak to the CEO because the CEO is above him. So this message is for that kind of people. The person that think that they are too low and the person that think they are too high for others. And this message is for that entrepreneur that got stuck literally because no one around him is on their level. They think, ah, OK, this is how things go. Oh, this is that. So the reason why. Oh, yeah, that's right. The reason why I'm saying this message is for these people is the reason also why you have no real people in your life. People trying to almost adapt to your circumstances because they cannot be yourself. I'm trying to. You know, like to put in, they now become somebody else because they are around you. I remember I remember some time ago. Before I got saved, I didn't want to be associated with people who gave their life to Christ because of the Hippocratic, how they were so Hippocratic, because someone can say, I am in Christ, but the next day you don't understand what kind of behavior they have that doesn't sound Christ like. Because of that reason, I hated Christians so much. And yet the reason why Christians is here on Earth is to attract you to become more like Jesus. But people are faking around you because of how you make them to feel awkward around you as a Christian. This message is for you. You know, you know, sometimes what we do is we put ourselves to a circle that we think is the right thing. And I can guarantee you now, I'm one of them. I was preaching, show me your friends and I tell you who you are. I'm one of them. So what I meant by that is that your five closest friends, like my one of my mentors says, the five closest friends to you. If I can say who they are, I can almost exactly tell you who you are by the five closest friends that you have. But yet we are trying to to to make a click. You know, like you click like I'm only going to be with this person and I'm only going to be with that type of person. I'm only going to be with the Christian. I'm only when I get married, I don't want somebody who is in the world. These are words that Christians do utter most of the time. Nothing wrong with it, because remember, the Bible also says that in certain times you you you you must look at who you surrounding yourself with. But can I ask you something? You reject the person because of how they smell on the robot. Do you not think that that person have something that they can teach you? Because those people can teach you resilience of waking up every morning. Although I am dead hungry, yet I can get up and go and look for food. And you, you are hungry waiting on your mother to bring the food to you. And I'm just making an example of that, but there's so many other examples as well. We have been taught to move away from the wrong people. Let me make an example. We have been taught to move away from the wrong people if they are druggies. We don't want to associate with them because we are afraid the dirt will come upon us. And you know, when I talk about druggies, I'm saying when I talk about their dirt, I'm saying you might feel like I'm going to fall into the temptation to also use. But you remember what I said to you from our first series is that Jesus knew who he was. And therefore, if you know who you are, you can go anywhere you want to. And that won't change who you are. I mean, people have a saying to say that if you go into a pigsty and play with the pigs, you will also get dirty. But dirty or not, do you call yourself a pig because you got dirty from what they've done? You cannot tell yourself to be a pig even if you go into that dirt and still say, ah, dirty. Now I'm a pig. The unfortunate part, it's not like that. It doesn't work like that. You can never become a pig if you have been called a son of God, if you have been called a children of God. There's never been anything that can touch you from outside that can penetrate inside if you have chosen to be a child of God. The reason why you change is because you have not accepted your identity as yet. That's the reason why you feel awkward when you get into the tavern and start dancing like the people in the tavern start dancing. Now you think when you dance, it will make you to be the same as them. I remember there was a time, I think somewhere in 2012, 2011 or somewhere. I went in with my friends into a place and for somebody who is a Christian, you're not supposed to go in there according to men. Did you hear what I said? According to men. You're not supposed to go in there. Then what happened is I had a long, tall glass of coke. And by the end of the day, somebody come ask me, can I buy you a drink? I said, no, I'm still sharp. My coke is here. And the person thought I was drinking brandy the way I was dancing like I was drunk. Offering me a drink thinking I'm drunk. Because what I can do is I can adapt to a situation just to prove to you that even in places like that, Christ can still come up and show up to somebody who thought I was drunk. And did you know what I did? I actually at that time started speaking to him about who I am. And the person was so impressed that they say, you are the first Christian that I can see that is different. The Christians of today, they don't have the word within them. They only have the word within their mouth. I wanted to sit with you for a moment. They don't have the word within them. They have the word within their mouth. How can you say to somebody who is asking you for food, God bless you. There's no word that needs to fix somebody's hunger. It's the action that needs to fix somebody's hunger. Give the person bread. Now, I would want to also at the same time tell you something. Whenever something goes wrong, here's the bigger problem. Whenever something goes wrong, the people that you have written off are the ones that is there to help you. Those are the people you have written off. And those are the people that God has put in your part to make your life easier. I've been going on, going on. Let us read a little bit of Bible because I don't want this message to come through as if I am the one saying what I'm saying. Let us read Genesis 3, verse 12. Genesis 3, verse 12 says the following. And the man said, the woman whom thou hast given to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I did eat. He made a mistake, but now he's blaming the woman that God has given to him. It's the same thing that happened with most people. When things go wrong, they shift the blame. Adam had a wife given to him by God himself. The first thing that comes to mind when things got hard, he blamed her. He blamed her. And you know, there's another thing that happened there. Israel got out of Egypt and immediately when they went out of Egypt, they built a wall between them. See how people get to a relationship that has lasted for nine years, for five years, for ten years, for three months, for six months. The moment you leave the person, you build a wall around that person so that the person can't come back to you or doesn't speak to you. You have built a wall around him. But can I tell you something? If there is dark, for some weird reason, there should be a light. If there is dark, for some weird reason, there should be a light. How can darkness know that they are dark if there is no light? And this is the thing that you should understand about the saying that people say, mutu kimutu kabatu. He says, mens as mens, dir anna mens, varak mutirkan as it's human, another human, because of another human. Now, if I tell you, the Bible call it that we are the body of Christ. Where one part gets hurt, the rest of the parts also feel the pain. Now, when you rejected somebody because they didn't treat you well, then how do you get that right? Because now what happens is, for argument's sake, if you are looking at somebody that you have dumped, can I ask you to just... I mean, let's be human beings, let's be humans. I don't like this thing of us being too holy, holier than doubt. Isn't it that for some weird reason, there is something that you miss about that person, even though you don't want the person anymore? Just something. I don't say everything, but there's something. Oh, the way they always treated me in a certain time of my life, they treated me well. And then you rejected the whole person because of the one thing they have a mistake on. The Israelites, they built around a wall between themselves when they come from Egypt. And every other nation, they were said to be the light of the nation, but they moved away instead of going there, according to Isaiah 49. Let's read Isaiah 49 so that you can understand what I mean by this. The Bible says, and he said, it is a light thing that thou should have be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserve of Israel. I will also give thee for light to the Gentiles. Did you hear that part? I will also give thee to a light for a light to the Gentiles that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. But what did they do? They built a wall around them. How can somebody, because of past hurt, build such a wall around them that nobody else can come in? The moment you get hurt from a relationship, now you don't want to have another relationship because of the past hurt that you had, because of the past hurt. But I want to tell you what Adam could not do and what Israel could not do. Jesus did it. Jesus moved towards the people that everybody else moved away from. He moved towards them that other people moved away from. So what is the move that we are talking about? Let us read Matthew 4 verse 18. Matthew 4 verse 18 says, And Jesus walked by the sea of the Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishes. And what did he say to them? And he said unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishes of men. Picture this. Jesus moved to the place where it stinks. The fishing, the people who do fishing will always stink. Those are the people that you reject because of the stink they give off. The ones that make them feel like they are high and mighty. You know, those people that think they are high and mighty, they can't be seen with certain people. That's the one I'm talking about. Jesus moved to them. If you go to Matthew 9 verse 9, Matthew 9 verse 9 says the following. He says, And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the receipt of customs, and said unto him, Follow me, and he arose and followed him. Verse 10, And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at the meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. Verse 11, And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your master with publicans and sinners? But when Jesus heard it, he said unto them, They that behold need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, and I will have mercy, not sacrifice, for I am not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance. Did you hear that? But when you're looking at this scripture, you would think that Jesus is just a good man. No, can I tell you? He was not being kind. He was not being kind. He didn't say, No, these are the things. He wasn't being kind. Because by being kind, or as you see, no, I feel pity for these people. It's not what it was. No, it's not. Oh, Jesus is nice. Oh, Jesus loved them. This is not a kindness story. This has nothing to do with being kind. This thing without the laptop now, I can't time myself. It's 1033 now. This is not a kindness story. This people of God is a strategy. Jesus had a strategy. Do you know why he had a strategy? Jesus did not go to the synagogue to recruit the rabbis. He didn't go there and went to the beach to recruit fishermen. I mean, he went to the beach to recruit fishermen, not the rabbis. Do you know what is the problem with rabbis? When you are, you don't want food. You get my point. When somebody is already studied to become a doctor, you can't tell them otherwise. How can a rabbi who already know what he knows, he's been indoctrinated, will change his ways? A fisherman that doesn't know will be open for something else. Jesus did not go to the temple to find somebody there who knows finance. You know like us, when we want to go do the church's finance, we go and seek for Christians that know how finance works. No, he didn't go there. He went to the tax booth and called the most hated man. Let me not go there. The man that makes me to have sleepless nights, owing Sars, a slip-up and fleece me. Do you know what I'm saying? Please, don't ever get in trouble with Sars. They will do like my sister. I come for you. That's what they will say. They will say like Candice, I come for you. That is Sars for you. So when Jesus went to look for this tax guy, he uses that tax guy. Let me not go there. Do you know what is accountant? An accountant is somebody who takes account of somebody's books. But this guy was not taken as an accountant for the books, but he was taken as an accountant to mark every step that Jesus did. No interviews, no CV. Jesus did not pick people who already had it all taken together. Now, why would you think somebody who is in the world needs to come to church and change today to be the best of Christians that you find? You will not find that. We should sometimes think we kill others before even giving birth to them. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. When somebody got told, go here out there and make disciples of men, he didn't mean go here out there and look for other Christians. The Great Commission has never been about the Christians. Jesus knew the person that already know God, I have not come for them. The person who is not sick, I have not come for them. Why? Because the people who think they have it together cannot be bought. They already fool. They already know everything. It's like you can't tell them otherwise. They already have their own networks of people, but the ones that were rejected, they did not even think they just pick up and go with Jesus. Peter dropped the net. Matthew stood up from the boot. No interview, no CV, no probation period even. He just went. Jesus didn't tell him, I'm going to put you on this for three months, this and that. Now, when you're looking at the Greek word, the Greek word for follow is akolotia. And it does not mean listen to me. It does not mean agree with me. It means walk the same route, the same dust, the same direction, the same destination. So even if we go through mud, walk with me. That's what follow means. Even if there's pain, walk with me. That's what follow means. The one thing that you don't understand is that when Jesus said follow me, he didn't say be my friend. He was not asking for friends. He was not asking for I'm the influencer. Come on, follow me. Follow me on TikTok. Follow me on Facebook. He did not say that. Ah no man, my IG handle, my Instagram handle is ah ah no. He didn't mean that kind of photo. He was asking for the person who walk where he walk. So he took the people. How do you say? He picked the people. Everyone else was throwing away. Jesus picked the people. Everyone else was throwing away. He picked the disqualified, those ones that were disqualified. If I look at this, it says specifically at those years Samaritans were cast out. And picture this. Jesus chose prostitutes that were seen as unclean. The lepers that nobody wanted to touch. Ma, put another one next to that. No, the other chair there. The bigger chair next to that one because that one is asking for the chair. The chair that the FBI is setting. When you're looking at religion, religion says to keep away from those people. If you go to first Corinthians one twenty seven, let's let's go to first Corinthians one twenty seven. First Corinthians one twenty seven says, but God had chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. God has chosen the foolish things, chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. And God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. If you go to first Corinthians one verse twenty seven, first Corinthians one verse twenty seven and then first Corinthians one verse twenty eight says, and base things of the world and things which are despised had God chosen he and things which are not to bring to not things that are every person. God put on your path is there for a reason. Every person that God puts on your path is there for a reason. Don't reject them because they smell. Don't reject them because they are rude. Can I tell you those rude people that is so rude, somewhere there's a hidden pain in their lives that they use a you can almost call it a protection mechanism to be rude. That rudeness is to protect themselves. I don't want to I don't want to sound like I'm a psychologist, but I can guarantee you now the rude person, the tougher person has always been hurt. And now to keep protecting themselves, that is what they do. The bully. I'm telling you, the bully has been hurt somewhere or the other. And because they've been hurt, hurt people hurt people, people that have been hurt hurt people. So don't reject them because they hurting you. Try and understand them and try and understand where they're coming from. Jesus knew that hurt people hurt people. And that's the reason why he moved to the people that was rejected. People reject people because of how they behave. People reject people because of even how they talk. It's not it's not that talk is telling you what to do. No. Can I tell you something that God doesn't bring polished people to you. You are the polisher that needs to see how you can polish even the parts that you don't like. That is the reason why you don't have real people around you. You know the reason why you don't have real people around you, because people are trying to be fake to fit in with you. They are fake to fit in with you. And here you think, ah, the other. Nine nine bra. Ah, the other. It's my nine nine bra. In the meantime, nine nine bra can't do anything because you don't give him a chance to be himself. And the one thing I can tell you now. Jesus did not go and look for people to follow him in church. Hey, if you if you wait for people to come to church, you mark your luck. You are you are wasting your time. People don't come to church because they are already been hurt by so many churches. Somebody that hasn't been in church for 10 years. Why they not in church? Ask them. Church heard. They will tell you, no, I've been hurt by this and that and the other. Jesus didn't wait for them to come to church. He went to them. For how long would you sit and warm up the chairs, benches, the chairs, the church benches? The church benches is so warm that nobody can come in because of how you keep on sitting. You can't be waiting on people. Go to people. Jesus did not wait for the right people to come to him. He walked to the beach where the smell was. He even he even walked to the tax booth. He needs to go to Samaria. Let's let's go to John 4. Why am I? Yeah, if I. OK, let me let me let me read from from verse two. Though Jesus himself baptized, not but his disciple, he left Judea and departed again into Galilee. And he must needs go through Samaria. Now, when you're looking at the olden days or the go or those days, the Jews always was walking around Samaria to avoid the people that was there. Samaria is a place of where people were rejected already. Samaria was a place where people were rejected. Jesus walked through Samaria. No, maybe maybe I can see it. It is a requirement for you to go through Samaria. You cannot skip Samaria. You have to go through Samaria. Because what's the use of you saying, go here out there and make disciples of men. But you skip it. Luke 19 verse 10, 19 verse 10. Look, 19 verse 10 says the following for the son of man. Is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Is to come and to save that which was lost. He did not wait. He went to go and seek that which was lost. So you that is waiting for your brother to clean up. You know, like you wait for your brother to clean up before you talk to him. You that wait for your colleague to come right before you invite him for a coffee. You that is waiting for your cousin to stop failing before you help him again. You are waiting for the right room to open before you speak. Your motivational speaking is you're waiting for the right room to open before you can speak. Jesus did not wait. He walks towards it. He walked towards it. The last part is he gave them a new name before they could earn that name. He gave them a new name before they could earn that name. You see, this is the part people must. He didn't just call the broken people and just call them for what? No, he called them and he gave them a new identity before they did anything. He didn't deserve it. Peter was called the rock way before. He showed himself to be the rock. Is it Peter? Yes. Yes, Peter. Upon this I will build my church. Is that? Yes, John. John 1. Yes, John 1. What scripture again? Yes. John 1.40 or something. One of the two which heard John speak and followed him was Andrew Simon Peter's brother. He first find his own brother Simon and said unto him, We have found the Messiah which is being interpreted the Christ. And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon, the son of Jonah. Thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by the interpretation a stone. Can you see the prophetic Jesus gives into his life already just by meeting him? And sometimes when we look at people, we look at the dirty clothes and not look at the potential that they have. The thing that you must understand now, potential gets seen deeper than what the eye can see. If David who was in the field burnt by the sun, small boy, stature didn't look appealing, was called to be the king. What makes you think the person you are looking at as a druggie is not a king? The person you are looking at who is homeless is not a king? The person you are looking at who is a mud? You know like mental illness, who is saying that is not the king? The cripple, Mephiboshed, who was the cripple? Yeah, it was Mephiboshed. Who said he is not going to be your next leader? Sometimes we judged too quickly because of what we see. Jesus teach us in this whole, you can almost call it sermon, let's call it the whole sermon. Jesus teach us the reason why you have no real people around you is because of you looking for the person who already have it all. The person who, you know what, I can almost guarantee you, when you are looking for a business partner, the first thing you look for is somebody who has a hundred million rent already in his account. Then you think, I need a business partner who understands this and that and the other. No, no, no, no. The real life is not black and white. There is an in-between. Real life, there is no black and white. There is an in-between. Jesus knew it and that is why Peter the rock, before Peter did one thing that looked like a rock, before he denied Jesus three times, before he ran away, his name came first. Who was a tax collector? Do you know that guy, he was a tax collector and he was told to be somebody who took money. But yet, Matthew wrote the life of Jesus. He accounted every step that today we can still see what happened in Jesus' life. Why would you reject somebody for the wrong they are doing? Not knowing that when you are a fisherman, you become fishers of men. No, no, no, no. Let's talk about the ones whose purpose was betrayal. Your purpose is to betray Jesus and yet you get rejected. Judas, don't worry, you are a betrayer, yes, yes, yes, but it's in the plan of God sometimes. It's in the plan of God to be the betrayer. So don't reject people because they betrayed you before. Because for some reason that betrayal might become the reason why you stand as a higher person. I think last week I talked about the identity that you don't chase. You don't chase identity, you receive identity. Jesus was called, this is my beloved son. Jesus didn't chase the beloved son or chase to be a son. He was already. So sometimes when we look at our lives, there's already a pattern of who we are. But yet we chase who we're not supposed to. You're not supposed to be that person. The person waited for the right people, they're not coming. The person who looked for the perfect partner, they're not coming. The girlfriend that you taught, she has all the beauty and no brains. She's not coming. You need to have the understanding that what you are looking for, God will allow it to give it to you. But the unfortunate part is the other sections you will not receive. Miskat, you can find the one who sits in the room and sits on the left of the eladah. But you won't find the one that wants to go out every day. It's the unfortunate part. The one that is stubborn. You look away from his stubbornness and you forgot there's something good in him as well. Please understand something. Some people might be the putz, but they are the putz that will take you to the palace. They are the putz that will take you to the palace. Go here therefore and teach all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Go here, not wait for them. Go. One person, that's all I'm asking. One person you have been moving away from. Call them. One person, message them. Invite them for coffee. Sit at a table and eat their food. Just listen to their story. Don't judge. Because behind that story they're telling you, there's something that you can learn. Heavenly Father, we have been waiting for the right people to come to us. While you were asking us that anybody is still there to help us, regardless of how we see them. I come to you and I ask for forgiveness. Forgive us for using the world's measure stick. The measurement that the world has been given to us to measure people how they should be. While your measuring stick is totally opposite from what we have measured. How you measured David was not the way the others were measuring him. Can we please ask you God, give us your type of measuring stick. Help us to see that the torn that carries the rose are actually the reason why the roses look so beautiful. The darkness that is so dark but yet teaches us about light. The goal that we couldn't see that become diamond. Teach us how to see that ugly goal and they becoming diamonds in the mighty name of Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior. Now, as a church, we sometimes have a way of asking for tithes and offering. But I need to let you understand that tithes and offering is something you offer to God and something you tie to him. And that is not all about the money. It can be a time that you tithe, something that you do for the kingdom of God. That two hours a day that you can give up and help others. That is your tithes and offering that you must also look at. It's never about the money. It has never been about the money. Because we are so into asking about money that people think that the church is only there to ask for the money. And let the pastor, let the pastors have the nicest cars, let the pastors have the best of houses. It's not about that. As pastors, we don't always get to decide what is on our plates every day. But yet we do the work of the Lord. And the money you give is never the money we always use. We have our own businesses. We work so that people can see. The money that they give is not money coming from them. And if you think that you have the wrong end of the stick. Because when churches do ask for money, there's bigger things that goes in there. We bless others by being a blessing. If you're talking about the widow that doesn't have anything, the church is there to give to the widow. After this, you can bring your tithe and your offering. And I pray God, let your perfect will be done on the tithes and offering. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit rest and abide with us all until Jesus comes. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives. And we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever. In Jesus' name, Amen. Fall left, Mishgadah. Fall left.
