I sometimes tell myself man, it's very good to have a prophetic word one on one. It's best actually that way because then we can sit together and reason out what God is asking of you or what God is expecting of you. but when you have it on a platform where there's too many people surrounding you, I might not be able to go in depth. You know, there's some things that we're not allowed to say where people listen. So I, not that there is, please don't get me wrong, I'm just saying it's just nicer when prophetic comes in that we can have it one-on-one instead of having it on a platform where I'm restricted to say what I want to say. You see, like where I'm restricted, I'm just making an example now. Maybe God is telling me, I must tell you that something will happen where somebody will rape you for argument's sake. You know, so when that thing happened, now I can't say it on a platform. I need to now be putting my words nicely and say, Ah, you know, there will be a problem with a guy that will come to you, push you this way, push you that way. You see, now I can't say the word because of these people surrounding you. So prophetic is very nice, especially speaking to, let's say if I'm speaking to an apostle and I must now tell the apostle you are a fornicator I can't say it in a platform like this I can't because the platform is not for exposing it's for yelping others so it's not something of you I'm just making the examples Just so that you can understand But please do know We are praying for you I want us to speak on a subject I mean I want us today we going to speak on a subject called Healed but not Whole I'm speaking on a subject called Healed but not Whole. Then I go on and ask you, are your prayers missing the point? Are your prayers missing the point? Remember I've mentioned something that when you ask God for a car, you have not specified specifically that you're looking for a... Let's make an example. A G-Wagon. Lord, I want a Mercedes. It's Mercedes, right? G-Wagon, Moses. Lord, I want a Mercedes G-Wagon and it needs to be a black one and the tires I mean the rims need to be a blue rims and the interior needs to be blue and it doesn't have it mustn't be any blue except sky blue it needs to be sky blue so you're making it so specifically that God fully understands you now you're asking God I want a car do you know what God gave you donkey car you ask for now he's bringing donkey car so that is why I have seen it to have this message so early during the course of the year so that you don't miss the point. And I want to take a few moments and talk about the woman in Matthew 9. now Matthew 9 and I'm going to read from the verse from verse 20 Matthew 9 start as follows verse 20 start as follows And behold a woman which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years come behind him, touch the hem of his garment, for she said within herself, Now picture this, she didn't touch the garment first, she didn't touch the garment first she first had a thought or in her mind saying and behold which and behold a woman which was deceased with an issue of blood for 12 years come behind him and touch the hem of his garment for she said within herself if I may be touched his garment I shall be made, I shall be whole. Did you hear what he said? Before she touched, she made mention of I shall be whole. And then, but Jesus turned him about and when he saw her, he said, daughter, be of good comfort. Thy fate has made thee whole. Picture this. Jesus said to so many people, so many different things. But, when I, when I, when I, I talk about, I want to, I want to check quickly. I'm looking for an example. okay now let me say it this way to some Jesus said be healed but why does he say to this woman to be whole why isn't it that she had an issue with blood why made whole instead of be healed of your situation so I want you to think of it I want you to think of it just think of it that way now If my message is healed but not whole I'm saying to you this morning, you need to look at the way you approach Jesus. You need to look at the way you approach God. don't look at it from the thing that you are in need of you can be saying to God Lord Jesus I am praying for a job ok there is the job but do you forget that the first job that you had you were stealing there so when you stole you got a what we call a bad record. Now you can't get another job because now the other job will ask why did you leave the other place. So you played for a job. God has given you the job. But do you know what the problem is? Now you come to the new job all dressed up and well looking. And the first thing they ask you. Alright, as you are starting today We just want to know something else Because in the interview We have not asked you Why did you leave the other job? Choo, choo, choo, choo Picture this, ne? Now, the question is Why did you leave the other job? What is the answer at that time? I didn't leave the job I was fired So your prayer Is now asking Lord Jesus I'm looking for a job Hey Bishop When somebody is asking for a job By God And God give him the job You know what will happen He will give you the job But the things that made you To be jobless Has not been taken care of That is the reason why the lady was saying in her mind, she said, if only I can touch the hem of the garment, I will be made whole. So when you lost the job some time ago and now you're praying for the job, you have I have not asked the question, Lord forgive me, I have stolen and now I have been fired, now I need you to give me a job. That is why our prayers got answered, but you are pointing fingers back to God and say, you made me to get this job now you are putting me on the spot here because people are asking me why I got fired there now I have to tell the truth so the question is not in getting the job the question is to ask God to make you whole get whole first don't ask for healing if you know that let me paint the picture to you now for those of you that has been next to a woman that is on their menstrual cycle for those of you that knows it have you ever sit next to the person and get the smell of that It sounds gross But Just picture this woman Being for 12 years Sitting with an issue of blood The smell makes her not to be seen Next to others So when she sat next to people She sat uncomfortable So when she sat uncomfortable She ended up Not wanting to be next to people and therefore she started becoming lonely and when she's lonely she's looking at the situation and started cursing God you know what happened with Job Job's friend says curse God and die or is it the wife his wife I mean not friends so my question to you is that when Job has to pray and say the prayer about God restore me, does he have to mention the fact that his wife were putting words in his mind already to say I going to curse you So Job didn say because of the cursing that Jesus I going to say but can you picture somebody being rejected for the smell that they've been carrying? Now you're asking for healing, but people are still seeing you with your past, the smell that comes out and now when you get next to them they want to run away because they know you are smelling the question is are you asking God for a car or are you asking God for the exact car that you are looking for my question to you is this morning that you are healed but you are not whole you get healed because you know what she went through. For 12 years, I can tell you now, within that 12 years, she's been looking for all the ways to get healed. She probably went to a sangoma. It was not mentioned here, but she could have went out of a spiritual sight and look into a traditional healer or a sangoma or whatever you call it and went in there and did something wrong that could put her in a place where even if she got healed, the spiritual things that came upon her wouldn't have been healed or wouldn't have been taken away. So the making of whole has to do with all of those things included. So why is the question that whenever you ask God that please heal me and you forget that as you were sick, you actually went and cursed God and say, Jesus, it's because of you that I'm going through whatever I'm going through at the moment. And those curse needs to be broken as well, because now being in the sickness that you... Jesus, Jesus. So within the sickness that you went in, you went in financially problematic as well, because you took the last money also and when you took that last money you even said maybe this Nyanga will be able to solve my problem so financially you are depleted and you ask God to heal you with no money in your pocket What the use What the use Now you are financially on a bad situation. And then you ask Jesus heal me. That's not the healing that you need. You are in need of more. More than just be healed. picture this man somebody says look God I want to pray I'm praying for my marriage oh Lord my marriage has been falling down but have you asked God that the thing that makes your marriage to fall down to go back and restore that as well do you know that how you delella your wife do you remember that how you dilella your dilella mama give me the word there you disrespect him you disrespect her do you forget that that disrespect has broken your marriage so that you not be able to take that with the healing or the marriage being perfect now the wife is looking at you the last time you were delaying her and you asked for your marriage to be whole is a better one so do get into a situation where Lord Jesus when my marriage went sour I was actually do you know do you think that your husband will trust you after you have slept with somebody. Your marriage cannot be saved. Because now, even though it's saved, in the back of their mind, what if he does it again? What if she does it again? Now, the problem comes in. Your marriage has been saved. You are together. But the moment you touch your husband, hey, don't touch me. Do not remember him The reason why he doesn want you to touch is because you touch somebody else So to be made whole is to have all those things taken care of. Therefore the lady did not go in there and say I want to be healed from the 12 years of the issue of blood. I want to be made whole My finances Should be taken care of When I go in there And I touch that hammer of the garment Where I stood up and thought I do things on my own I need to humble myself And being humble By the side of the Lord I need to go down Get on my knees And getting on my knees Makes makes it to be you, you, you. Do you know the nicest part of it is she didn't went up to touch his head. She didn't went up to touch his chest. She went down and humbled herself. And the worst part of it is she didn't even she didn't even go and do it while he's standing alone. She had to push people. breakthrough. She had to literally dive to get to the hammer of his garment. And diving down makes you to go lower than the person that you see higher. Humbling yourself by the side of the Lord will lift you up. And therefore when Jesus asks, Who has touched me? How can so many people be surrounding this master but he sends a touch? what is that kind of touch that you're touching Jesus with that kind of touch that makes you when you come to Jesus and you want to touch him it's the earnest of your heart the honesty of your heart the pure heart the heart that is open to God knowing he's going to heal you so sometimes when you when you come to God and you think that no, no, no, no, no, no. It's not necessary for me to pray with this type of prayer. Then you go and you say, I've been praying. But then Jesus asks you, the question he will ask you, when you were praying, did you just rumble the words? or did you pray because of the need that you had because sometimes our prayers goes out just because we know we need to pray but our prayers doesn't go out with faith that is why when when the woman I mean when God asked when Jesus answered daughter be of good comfort thy faith he didn't say my hand. Nor did he mention my power. Nor did he mention my God. Nor did he mention what did he say? You know what? Let me get some money and see if I can fix you. He didn't say that. He didn't even say let me ask my disciples can I? No. There was no conversation. There was no need for a conversation. Did he ask, by that time, did he say, me, you, stay. No, no, no, no, I can't be touching you. No. He did not even have to do anything Because the woman did it all So what is it that today That you are in need of What is it that today That you are going through But you think that If only I can touch the hem of his garment What is it that you need to Get into that situation Because if you can get into that situation I'm telling you you are sharp, you are good you are good to go you don't need even to say that prayer you know the prayer I'm talking about no need to beg because when you beg it does not mean the begging Do you know healing? Well let me ask you, what is healing? Healing is something that was wrong That needs to be healed It's something that is wrong that needs to be healed So healing It's a physical restoration It's something physically That gets restored but do you know that if you ask God for physical healing and you're not dealing with the rejection that happened for the 12 years you're not dealing with the loneliness you went through for the 12 years not knowing that if you didn't ask for according to the what is that one again wait man I'm looking for scripture renewing of your mind let me Romans 12 picture this when you did not pray or when you prayed for healing in your mind the guy that looks so nicely dressed You even look at that person and you say when this person comes close to me I will ask that person out But now when the person comes close to you the smell chase the person away And the person say you are smelling Now in your mind when you see that person again, do you think you will be coming close to that person again after the guy rejected you like that. You won't. Me, I won't. Let me be a human being. I don't like to be God because if I am God, I wouldn't have stand here. Let me be the human being that I am. I would say, the last time when you say, walk hard to me, I can't even come close to you. I want to pass there. I feel ashamed so the shame that came on you don't you think you need renewal of your mind don't you hey yo yo yo some of the things that we're going through while we are seeking for healing is killing us don't you think your prayers are missing the point. Your prayers is gone. Let me talk about this one. Lord Jesus, I'm asking for money. Okay. Hashim, take the money. Do you know what is the problem? You don't know how to work with the money. now you ask for the money now the money will not be even in your hands and it will be gone do you know a millionaire will never ever struggle in their entire life again once they tasted million big bishop once they tasted million they will never go back to 100 grand again But somebody who is used to a hundred rent, get a million rent today, tomorrow. But didn you want a lotto last week Loto I not Lotto No no no Imagine I won the Lotto last week for now. It's next. I don't have anymore. It's because your mindset is in a hundred grand mindset. Instead of asking God, make me whole so that even if you do give me the money, let me expend that money. therefore it's very important that when you're looking at the story of the woman with the issue of blood it is very important to look at the deeper meaning of what you're going through the deeper meaning sometimes had to do with something that you need to first be able to know. There's somebody in Gadara, the demonic person. If I can go to Mark 5 verse 9, go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you and how He had mercy on you. This one, He had violent behaviors. He was the one that when he sees somebody, that man is Jet Li, Jackie Chan. He's all of them in one. A demonic guy. So strong that nobody can hold him captive. So picture somebody like that to get hold. What is it that he needs? You can't pray, let the demon be removed from him. Because even if the demon is removed, it means that he still had to go back and ask for forgiveness by the people that he had hurt before. He hurt so many people. His possession left him even tormented, not just spiritually but emotionally. picture this man a guy cutting himself looking like Bishop have you seen this guys that do ritual where they cut themselves incisions imagine somebody go to some woman or whoever or whatever they call them traditional ways cutting themselves when when i look at them i'm thinking hey there's demons in this one will flee into me let me not go there because some of us have the tendency of looking at a woman looking at the beauty of the woman not knowing behind the beauty there is a demon that is seeking revenge on you I don't want to mention this handsome guy walking coming with G-Wagon even telling you baby the way I love you not knowing that this guy went through some spiritual things to gain access to what he have and the first night you sleep with a person you lose everything how do you pray to God to get that demons out of you. Even if the demons go out, something has been lost. Your integrity has been lost. Imagine. No, I mean, wholeness is when Jesus casts out that demons. When He casts out the demons, restoring not just His mind, but also his dignity. Because remember that, this is a guy that probably went naked all over. Because of the demon made him not to think thoroughly. Getting back his dignity. He clothed him and gave him a right mind. You fix everything And you know what is the nice part The nicest part is Jesus restored him so nicely that he actually sent him to go and evangelize. Imagine somebody that was weren't clapping somebody and now telling you Hey, you know what? I met this Jesus and today I'm so happy for this Jesus. Now I have to tell you, Jesus saved me. That's how the guy will respond. That's how people will respond. But if I can ask you something, have you ever seen somebody that doesn't know the Lord? They have maybe poosie face or they doesn't look nice and the moment they come to the Lord there's some sort of a shine in their face and people notice that immediately that is the thing that God does to you that is the thing that God does to you King David in his eh eh eh like big David do you know what was his prayer Create in me A clean heart And renew a right Spirit were in me Renew a steadfast spirit What in me Do you know why this came out? It's not because of David Was the king that he is It's because something happened Before I want to take this Psalm 51 and I also want to take 2 Samuel and put it together and I want to say David needed forgiveness after committing adultery with Bathsheba and the worst part of it is it's not even making adultery it's orchestrating the death of the husband as well brought him. So, when David did that do you think that God fixed him by forgiving him He had to go through a lot, fornication, I can name them like this, killing. How many times have you killed somebody else's life because of the things that you are seeking? Am I tramping on toes? Because I'm supposed to tramp on toes. Because of your seeking health for the 12 years has cramped on so many toes that today you have to go and ask God for more than just Davidson and broken his relationship with God. Davidson had actually left him in guilt. His consciousness and his heart needed that renewal. I think, Jordan, are you kidding me? And that is why the wholeness came when David's prayer in Psalm 51. it was a plea for deeper restoration it was a plea for in depth restoration it was a plea for a cleansiness of his heart because how can you kill somebody's husband just to be with you that is why it's very important to understand that healed but not whole understand that healed but not whole Naaman's leprosy you know 2nd Kings 5 Naaman sought healing for his leprosy which was just a physical condition leprosy, physical condition But do you know for Naaman to heal he need to run through all those rejections Because he was rejected for somebody who had leprosy Nobody wanted to be close to you Nobody. His pride and his reliance on his own status, imagine. The power kept him from experiencing God's grace. Initially he resisted the prophet Elisha's simple instruction to wash in the Jordan of Theravah. he didn't want it he didn't go in faith Naaman humbled himself and obeyed God's instruction and received the physical healing and the deeper understanding of God's sovereignty let me talk about blind batomiers not seeing for quite some time. You have to maybe you can't read braille. Let's talk about that. When you can't read braille when you are blind you must have on so many things. Because you can't read. Let me talk about maybe he had a child maybe I don't know I'm putting out assumptions here not seeing your child growing up thinking that every time when you feel this was the height now you feel there you haven't seen the growing of the child you just feel the beard you're like not seeing it you just have to feel it and imagine if we are in today's life and there's cameras around picture this this groupman comes, my son come close and he's starting touching because now he wants to see you with his hands. The camera takes this and says, Gaman, huh? too gay because this one is touching the face that so but the mayor's want to regain his physical sight but his blindness left him in a marginalized begging he's a beggar son of david have mercy on me you know sometimes when you when you are blind Begging makes you not to rely on yourself, but relying on others. I don't know about you, but if somebody, every time I see them asking money from me, I will run from them. I will run. He actually wanted so much Recognition as well But he couldn't be recognized Because of his eyesight So Jesus healed his blindness And affirmed his faith Restoring his dignity And empowering him to Follow Jesus So how can a blind Lead the blind Or the blind follow the blind Go said Jesus Your faith Did you hear that one? If you don't know what I'm talking about We're going into Mark 10 Verse 52 Mark 10 verse 52 said Go said Jesus Your faith has healed you Immediately he received the sight and follow Jesus along the road. And follow Jesus along the road. These are the things. I want to run quickly through a few. Prodigal son. Luke 15. The son returned home and losing all his inheritance but he needed financial support. So he carried some guilt So imagine they gave you money Now you have to come back home like dog leg between the what do you call it Tail between the legs. And that is, ah, I got a hot post. I've squandered it. Now you have to come back. Imagine that guilt. Not even talking about the shame. And you felt unworthy. You feel like, you know those feelings of, Hey, I have failed. How do you heal somebody like that? How do you? So the father not only welcomed him, but restored his identity as a beloved son. Because remember when he was with the pigs, he lost his sonhood. He was no longer the son. To him, he was a pig. That's why he ate with the pigs. So his dignity went. His authority went even, because remember this is somebody who had authority. So now when you are smelling like pigs how can you say somebody bring me water? They will laugh in your face. The father not only welcomed him back but restored his identity as a beloved son. He gave him a rope. He gave him a ring. And sandals. And that ring gave him his authority back. If you read in Luke 15 verse 24, the son of mine was dead. Imagine, you are seen dead by your family. You are seen as a useless nothing and nobody is alive again He was lost And if I can call this lost he was a loser Now he found again The Samaritan woman at the well Looking for water But it's not the water that she was looking for It was something else Because the water she got I'm going for water Yes, there's the water I got it but the shame that you went through with the relationships not having somebody to call her own how do you restore that? it's ample like you are called Mahosha how do you as a prostitute get your dignity back? How? Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst again. John 4 verse 13 and 14. Will never thirst again. This woman went to go and look for water. But everything that she went through with her husband. That is not even the one that she is living with at the moment. it's not a husband so please do remember when you pray know what to pray for when you pray know how to pray because it's no use of asking God for a car. And when he gets you a donkey car, you think, eh, demon, he doesn't listen to me. Be specific. Get restoration in wholeness, not in halfway measures. Allow God to use your pain for His glory Because remember in all things no, no, no, as we know, that in all things God works for the good, for those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romans 8 verse 28. So whatever you're going through, it's a purpose of God. But you need to make sure that you, before touching His garment, before going to Him, before you even think of asking for rescuing from Him, know what you need rescuing from. because remember what we said we said we said it like this and behold the woman which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years came behind him and touched the hem of his garment for she sat within herself so before she touched the hem of the garment before that happened she sat within herself If I may touch his garment I shall be made whole So it was way before You can speak to God Know What it is Take faith in what will make you whole Before you do Get whole He doesn't just fix what's broken He made us whole God doesn't just fix what is broken He make us whole He doesn't just heal you but mentally, spiritually financially all of that relationship He amended all and therefore it's important it's very important come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest come to me all who are weary and burdened Acknowledge sometimes there's a deeper pain. The Lord is closest, close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34 verse 18. So it's very important That when you are crushed in your spirit That deep pain That Inside, inside Like Inside, inside When that pain is so deep To acknowledge it And he will make you whole Job lost his family his wealth and his health. But the deeper issue was that Job's suffering caused deep emotional and spiritual pain where it was a questioning of God's justice. God not only restored Job's fortunes, but He gave him a double of what he lost and healed his heart by showing his sovereignty and care I want to leave it here I want to leave it here. And I want to let you know that God has told us today, whatever we ask for. Let us not ask in half measures, but ask in wholeness. And let us believe that He will make us whole. Not just healed, but whole. Because sometimes we do miss the point with our prayers. Heavenly Father, I thank you for a message like this. And I give you the glory, the praise, and the honor that you deserve. And I'm not going to ask for anything, but let your perfect will be done in Jesus mighty name we pray amen and amen now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ the love of God and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit rest and abide with us all until Jesus comes surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever in Jesus mighty name amen and
